I have been quoted a price then they chargev whatever they want (30% more) . I have made 4 calls so far and I only get excuses. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

The Driver Number 1156

The Driver Number 1156, Vehicle Seat Alhambra, License: MK4858, was very rude.

He does not have good customer service. He called my mobile on landing, immediately after the plane had landed, asking all the questions that had been asked when we booked the Taxi.

He was verbally rude and kept attacking us when driving us back to Milton Keynes, claiming it took us a long time to come out of the airport.

We had to stay quiet and decided not to speak any more because of his attitude and to prevent further aggravation.

Repeatedly negotiating rate lower for us if we pay him cash. This is appalling.

When you're just coming back to the Country and you're exhausted, you really could do without the attitude demonstrated by this Taxi driver to get an extra £7 from us.

Skyline Wellingborough Driver Attitude

It is just to bring your attention for the driver (AK-blue-Toyota Corolla- booking reference- 44631355)who picked me up from
25, Tunells mill lane to Fourth Avenue today 12/07/25 at 3pm. I am so sorry to tell you that this driver was extremely rude . He doesn't know how to behave even if he has several years of experience. When approaching my house, he was looking at a phone on his hand and zooming up the location while driving. That is his first mistake. One is already fixed on the right side of windscreen. I thought he may be confused, so just told him to take a left turn because it's close to my house and i know this place. He didn't like this and shouted at me snd telling that " he has 10 more years of experience and i know how to drive, do you like if i come to teach you how to make burger". Because he knows that am a staff at KFC. I was tired of my long shift cooking and serving food and that's why i hired a cab . I normally used to walk . He didn't stop at there. Took a long class on how to make burger, what is the first step to make burger and so on. That too he got answer from somebody else on his headphone . It is so irritating if he prefer to use headphones and talking to someone throughout journey ( his second mistake apart from shouting at me.)
He is also trying to pick up things from far end while he is handling the steering with one hand( his third mistake)
He was playing music on his own language throughout the journey ( his fourth mistake)
Earlier he told me he knows how to drive when i just advised to take left turn approaching my house, he dropped me 3 houses away from my house number. (His fifth mistake)
I was actually tired from work and that's why i called this cab. Unfortunately when I closed the door, it was not fully closed. My mistake but he raised the Horn and called me back to do it properly. It's not a mistake but at least have some kindness in heart.
Overall the way he talked how to make burger one by one step was in an insulting way. He may have previous KFC experience and he may have pitty feel on me and my job. But i love my job , it gives my food. Just let him know that the way we treat our customers at KFC who come for food with dignity, privacy and love. Even if we are tired at the end of shift, we won't forget to keep a smile on our face. That's what i leaned from my school.
He did one more mistake, I booked cab for 3pm but he came early and started calling on my mobile. After repeated calls, i went outside at 2.57 pm and told him that my shift finishes at 3pm and i can only sign out at that time. About 3 minutes. More experience- silly attitude but I didn't feel safe on the backseat.

Stolen Device

My phone got stolen/lost in a car a couple days ago from skyline taxi's, the company refused to help me find my device and accused me of LYING and is defending the driver over me. The help Centre is completely useless and is very hard to understand and talk to. They argued with me and showed zero remorse for the incident. They REFUSE to show me camera footage that the driver supposedly has, I have now went to the police about it. TERRIBLE COMPANY AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

13 of May I booked taxi from Milton Keynes to Luton airport it was price £41. 19 of May I booked taxi from Luton airport to Milton Keynes I asked how much is going to be price driver said £47. I asked why? He said you could pay £41. When we arrived to Milton Keynes he said £47. I paid £41. Later they banned my phone number and now I can’t book taxi. Scammers!

Enough is enough I’ve decided to take action against Skyline Taxis they seem to be semi-fraudulent pre-booking and paying- debiting my account, and then saying that they have not received the money and I’ve had to pay a gain at an inflated fare - as many have commented about this company - little English and no knowledge of the area whatsoever I could go on and on and on and on, but I won’t. I’m sure that those who read this review who have experience what I have experienced would agree with every word I have written Question! It is there another taxi firm I could use a reliable and trustworthy. BWTP

the drivers are kind but the chaperone…

the drivers are kind but the chaperone and the driver always burp in the car, which is very unhygienic
and the chaperone is always talking loudly to the driver which gives me headaches, they always touch my property and they stair at my phone when I am using it

as a twelve year old it is ABSOULUTELY DISGUSTING

Charged BH rates for Eid !!!!!…….

Booked a cab today from West Bletchley to Bletchley town centre. Taxi was late and driver had no knowledge of location whatsoever despite it being only 2 miles away. Had to phone his office for directions and the fare he had to charge. Fare was 20% higher than normal, and the office claimed this was due to “EID” AND THAT THEY TREAT IT AS A BANK HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!"……..this is England for goodness sake, and they already charge a premium for real UK BH’s"…………outrageous and unacceptable. Will go elsewhere. 10years I have been using this company

Good experience.

Read all those terrible reviews and had doubts about booking. We had a taxi to Luton airport and it was great ,
on time, good conversation all fine and the return journey two weeks later just the same.
I can only think that people only bother to review when there's a negative experience not when everything is fine.

Negative experience

Dear manager,
I had a disappointing experience with Skyline Taxi in Wellingborough. I scheduled a taxi for 2:45 PM, but as of 3:17 PM, I'm still waiting for it to show up. I've reached out to the company multiple times for updates, only to be informed that the driver is occupied with another job and I need to wait until he completes it before he can come to me. What is the purpose of booking in advance if the scheduled time holds no significance for this taxi service?
I feel compelled to share my negative experience online to alert others about the poor service and treatment I've received from your employees. It's important for potential customers to be aware of how they may be treated

A comfortable ride that was worth it.

Black Mercedes OE74GWZ MK2088, by a driver called Aziz. He is a nice, insightful and helpful driver. I had an awesome 👌 experience with him when I went to Costco with my mum. I learnt a lot that day, because of the wise conversation he initiated with me and my mother. Give this taxi a try, particularly the driver named Aziz. You will even have a more wholesome experience.

BEWARE, will double charge you

BEWARE!
Employs crooked taxi drivers.
I used them in Milton Keynes booking through their app.
Once we arrived at the destination, the taxi driver said the app payment didn't go thru and asked me to pay him. Good thing i used the same card as what's registered in the app because later it showed i was also charged thru the app.
Ive been raising the issue and so far, no solution, just telling me they can't contact the driver to confirm if a 2nd payment has been made EVEN WHEN i showed them both statements from my bank. Avoid using, really untrustworthy.

Regular User Treated Poorly – Unacceptable Service

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service. Taxis are consistently late, and the drivers are often rude, unprofessional, and distracted, many of them talk on the phone while driving, and some have even sworn at passengers or told them to get out. Complaints are ignored, and there’s no proper management to escalate issues to. Customer service is basically non-existent. They also apply random, unexplained charges and clearly care more about making money than providing decent service. Absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend to anyone.

After over 20 years as a loyal customer ... I have decided to start using Uber !!! Your customer service is appalling .... your drivers are violent and very disrespectful towards women !!! Trying to drag women out of the car because they are not paying cash !! Shouting and swearing at customers !! Your company used to care about customers , gone are those days !
