We recommend Gurvinder Samra while heartedly to anyone needing legal help navigating an EHCP appeal.P .
We were recommended Gurvinder Samra by a number of people and so came to Slater Gordon for her help. We worked with her across several months on an appeal relating to for our sons EHCP content and school placement. Having never used a lawyer before we found her extremely clear and professional and her and her teams help resulted in the appeal being concluded without the need for a tribunal. We appreciated the fix rate and clear fees. Before coming to this firm we had little support and our son had been either part time or out of school the last 2.5 years with burnout and very little education provided or accessed. Without Gurvinder's help we would not have been able to navigate the paperwork and process to secure a placement at a school that can meet our sins needs and where he is happy to go. Gurvinder's help was invaluable, she was always swift at replying and acting and able to explain each step and answer questions. She was able to work around my limited availability as I juggled childcare and work etc, and took on all the negotiating on our behalf to resolve the issues with our sons EHCP and his eventual cross-country placement. As we look ahead to the new school year we now have hope that our son will be able to access the education he deserves with the support he needs in an environment he can manage. Thank you so much for your hard work and for lightening the load at what has been a very stressful time for us as a family.

Do Not Use this Firm
If i could give it no stars i would, reason, i rang them for advice on an executor issue over my dads will and was promptly told you'll have to go back to the will writting solicitors which is not true as i said i had an executor issue not a will issue. I was then told that i'd failed to mention it was an executor issue for which i called the guy a liar because i did mention it he then told me again i'd have to go back to the will writters about the issue which is not true as any solicitors can give advice on any part of will and probate issues so i hung up on the rude guy.
