Staff were very friendly and the train was clean. The lights were dimmed on departure which made having a sleep easier. Several seats appeared to have been overbooked, including my own, which caused... See more

I had a very bad experience with the tight sleeping quarters and there was no other place to rest- the club car ran out some of the hot meals for dinner and breakfast was not edible. I would never recommend this to anyone- super expensive and not conducive to rest.

Comfortable beds, ensuite facilities, really pleasant club car. Initially had no information on certain things eg, in room heating so was cold on the first trip. Found out from an online chat that there was a control button for heating that wasn’t obvious so return trip was much more pleasant.

Hospitality and Amenities were comfort inducing and the journey was relaxing.

Very comfortable experience. It would have been better to have a restaurant car and a separate bar. Many people were turned away

Grumpy service, ridiculous room service breackfast. Staff are overstretched when the train is full as it is this time of year to fort william. Being offered 'barista style coffee' - you are given a mug of black coffee and a serving of milk on the side. The menu says that toast is available in the club car in the morning with breakfast. When I asked I was given a very brusque "no". The best scenary is on the side with the booth style seating. Unfortunately, if you're traveling solo you are placed on the left on the very uncomfortable stools and you don't really see anything, you cant take photos in a full cabin. you can swivel your chair but it is an odd situation. You can't retreat to your room becuse the cabin windows are pointing the wrong way. You are left with standing in the gangway to see the views and dodge people coming past. service is slow. I chose to have breakfast in my room on the way back. You get a ridiculous cardboard tray like a glorified MacDonalds. The fold away tables have been taken away and you don't get the crockery and proper cutlery you might have seen online. I would not eat in the club lounge on the outward journey apart from in the off season. It took forever to get served and it ate into my sleep time considerably. I am not sure the club room is worth the extra. Considering what you get for the money in reality in terms of the soft product. The shower is nice and not having to leave your room to go to the loo. The lounges are lovely places to decompress and have the best staff. Having said that, the Euston one needs maintainance and is overcrowded. Overal I did wonder before I traveled if standards had slipped since the launch in 2019, and the answer is yes. Cuts everyhwere you go it seems, but prices just keep going up for everything.

The Caledonian Sleeper team delivered on all what was advertised - so expectations were met and then some. I myself had an easy time not just falling asleep but staying asleep. Room was spotless and the Club Car was a great place for a late night glass of whisky and a good morning breakfast!

Good communications and lovely team to speak to at Inverness. Was called twice to be told the toilet at J1 was not working and could I walk to the other one ok. In fact it was working fine. Nice staff on the train - great double bed - good sleep and arrived before schedule and great price. What’s not to like. But sadly did not have time to try the food in the restaurant. Will be repeating!

Great staff in the club carriage. Thought it might be a bit stuffy but not at all. Carys served me and was really good put me at ease. She had a good rapport with the other passengers too. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Glasgow to London.
Rooms lovely and clean.
Only issue the train was early into Watford but the app didn't show so I missed the stop.

Comfortable bed and rooms. Friendly, welcoming staff, and great breakfast.
Our closest toilet was out of order, and some charging ports didn't work well - otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Last time I used your trains it was the old stock. The new trains have appalling ride quality - a constant clattering, banging and jerky ride. The old trains were, in contrast, smooth riding.
Oh and drop the “see it say it sort it” announcements. You sell a “hotel on rails” - I don’t know of any hotel that has such security nonsense.

Terrible experience from 2:30 staff seem to be in a cupboard next to us chatting We had no running water in our cabin. No sleep.

Thought this would be a cool experience-don’t think I’ll do it again. On the plus side, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The passenger lounge had complimentary drinks and snacks and excellent food to order. Breakfast (included) was delicious. However, the twin room has bunk beds and extremely tight quarters! The late departure and early arrival added the necessity of storing luggage both days.

This was my first time and it was so great! I slept in a really comfy bed, the coffee was good the staff was super nice 🤍 I loved it

Great experience as always. One note people are still asleep when train gets to Carstairs, staff need to keep noise down if doors are open. Laughing and joking outside didn’t go down well with those still asleep.
