Less than four weeks for a full nights sleep
Four weeks ago we were barley sleeping. Our 18 month old was so reliant on milk to sleep we were up and down the stairs for over an hour for her to settle in the evening and then in and out throughout the night several times. We couldn’t see a way out because she would get so distressed when we tried to stop the milk so had just kept going.
With Kelly’s advice and support, we now say goodnight and kiss our little one and walk out the room - she takes herself off to sleep independently. We leave her at 6.30 and she sleeps through until the next morning. We made these changes all whilst comforting our little one as much as needed through the night. We didn’t have to leave her to cry or do anything that made us uncomfortable. Kelly had so many tips and advice and was so encouraging, would highly recommend to any one looking for a full night sleep again!

We brought the slumber add on package as our 16m old son started waking daily at 4am and I was 7months pregnant, we really needed help!! He was transitioning between 2to1 naps.
We were offered an appointment really quickly and Karlie was able to offer suggestions and support which has really helped. Karlie also provided advice for a couple of months time when he’ll be well into 1 nap territory.

Best Decision I Made!
I signed up for a 1:1 with sleeping bunnies as I was completely desperate for support with sleep for my 5.5 month old. After speaking to a few people I started getting skeptical on whether a sleep consultant could actually help with sleep and I can happily say Sleeping bunnies has been completely game changing!
Karlie has been an absolute angel and given us so much support. I was in a cycle of rocking my baby to sleep for all naps and bedtime along with feeding to sleep. Contact napping and co sleeping were the only way to get my little one to sleep which unfortunately meant no sleep for me. I was going to bed at 6:30 every evening as my little one would wake every 40 minutes through the night, had no time for myself, no time with my husband and it got to the point where I just couldn't cope.
His sleep was always awful but from 4 months it just got unbearable. Karlie gave me so much support, the first 2 weeks were focused on making sure we were properly set up to self settle, focusing on wake windows, routines, sleep associations. Once we hit 6 months we started on self settling. By day 3 he was fully sleeping in his own room and no longer required lots of support to fall asleep. He's now 8 months and can fully self settle, sleeps longers stretches at night and I finally have some time for myself. I can't thank Karlie and Sleeping Bunnies enough!
Sleeping Bunnies are sleep superhero’s!
Baby No 2 and Sleeping Bunnies have yet again been by our side making our sleep lives so much easier! Rachel from Sleeping Bunnies was our sleep hero for our first baby, and whilst this time around we’ve felt much more confident in what we are doing, she’s been right by our side again to give us reminders and tips on sleep and it’s been a much smoother and enjoyable journey!
Rachel’s given us the skills to help us teach our baby to self settle and to sleep more independently making the whole baby toddler juggle much easier. We’ve also enjoyed the baby phase so much more the second time round as we aren’t as exhausted from endless sleepless nights or constantly wearing a sling!
I couldn’t recommend Sleeping Bunnies more to any parents, they have saved us from so much stress and tiredness!
Revolutionary and life-changing
Working with Kristie, we got our little girl (15 mos.) from getting fed to sleep 100% of the time and waking up 2-3 times per night to putting herself to sleep, self-settling, and sleeping 11-12 hours in a row reliably, within really about a week. It was nothing short of life-changing: we were happier, cheerier, more energetic, better rested, better able to cope with life, without the constant grind of sleep battles. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
Kristie gave us the strategy, the nap-by-nap, night-by -night plan, the analytical tools, and crucially, the confidence to transform the way our daughter slept.
Kristie was also incomparably lovely, flexible and understanding. We probably have not made a better decision as parents than to hire Sleeping Bunnies!
If you are a parent who is struggling, ask for help, you do deserve more, and it does work!
Responsive and reassuring
We worked with Karlie for the 2nd time and again we had a very positive experience. I was expecting it to be the exact same as with our first baby but it proved to be very different. Karlie was patient and always had suggestions for us. Our little guy went off to sleep okay but timings became the big hurdle for us but Karlie guided us through lots of options until we finally found what worked best for him. I love that I can always respond to him and let him know I'm there. That was very important for us. Karlie helped guide us through nap transitions in an add on also which was great and it's reassuring to know there's help there if and when you need it. Karlie was so responsive like the first time we worked with her and I think this is a huge plus to working with sleeping bunnies as I needed that reassurance and guidance. We've seen huge improvements and our little guy is happy and content. I am still feeding him myself and this was something I was able to incorporate easily in to the plan Karlie made for us. Amazing experience
We contacted sleeping bunnies when our baby was 6 months old. We had struggled with his sleep since he was born, with very frequent night wakings and short naps. Karlie was very approachable and put together a staged, practical and supportive plan to get our baby’s sleep on track. In a couple of weeks we went from waking up most hours of the night to a solid nights sleep, with our baby self settling. Karlie gradually introduced each step and guided us through the changes in a calm, clear and reassuring manner. We are so grateful to Karlie and the sleeping bunnies team for giving our baby (and us!) the gift of sleep!

We worked with Kelly who was so understanding and was so respectful throughout the entire process and we could not recommend her and sleeping bunnies more!
We’ve gone from multiple wake ups a night, looong bedtimes, stroking to sleep and generally difficult sleep to a happy little boy who can now go to sleep on his own in his cot, sleep through the night and even resettle himself!! We never thought he’d be able to go to sleep without assistance but here we are!
We’re so much more confident in what we’re doing and we’re no longer sleep deprived which has made a huge difference to all of us!

Using Sleeping Bunnies is the best decision I have made as a parent so far.
Using Sleeping Bunnies is the best decision I have made as a parent so far. I cannot speak highly enough of the support we received from Karlie and I wouldn’t have believed how effective their advice could be if I hadn’t seen it for myself. When we reached out to Sleeping Bunnies my baby was 7 months old and was generally waking every half an hour/ 45 minutes during the night - a two hour stretch of sleep was classed as a very good night. My baby was exclusively breastfed and I had always fed her to sleep but that method of settling her to sleep stopped working and she didn’t respond well to other things I tried - including rocking, co sleeping, cuddling. Her sleep had never been great but since she had turned 4 months it became much worse and by 7 months I was really concerned about how little sleep she was getting and also struggling with sleep deprivation myself. We spoke to Karlie just before Christmas and chose to use the period over Christmas as a preparatory period - introducing new sleep associations for Amelia and trying our best to get as much sleep as possible to reduce her overtiredness. We then started to help Amelia to self settle on 13 January using the advice from Karlie. On the first day of using this method, Amelia did two 2 hour naps and slept 13 hours overnight. I couldn’t believe it. Over 2 months later Amelia has pretty much through the night every night since. We have even travelled with her in this country and abroad and her sleep has remained consistent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sleeping Bunnies and am so grateful as I now feel like I’m enjoying my life as a parent, rather than just surviving life as a parent!
More top up advice via an add on
We went back to work with Karlie when our son was just over 1 year. We paid for an add on to get some extra support and advice with transitioning our son towards one nap and to help with early rising. It was very useful and Karlie gave us advice for going forward over the next year.
We now have the gift of sleep!
We decided to use sleeping bunnies after trying multiple times ourselves to sleep train our 13 month old. He was comfort feeding during the night and often waking 3 times. Mornings were unbearably early and we dreaded bedtime because we had fallen into a bad routine of feeding to sleep or rubbing our sons back.
We worked with the wonderful Kelly, she was so understanding, knowledgeable and so clear in our processes to follow and we felt her continued support through every step of the way.
I will admit I was at first skeptical how this route of using Sleeping Bunnies would work as I felt we had so far to go and did doubt that a 4 week program would be enough time.
I remember Kelly saying on our consultation that at the end of 4 weeks we should be able to lay our son in his cot leave the room and he go to sleep alone, I was excited by the thought but not convinced we could do it.
Fast forward to completion of the 4 weeks - we now have a 14 month old son who’s sleeping 12 hours without waking! Going to bed without stroking, feeding, rocking and totally self settling. I wouldn’t have believed it was possible even at week two.. but I put all my trust in Kelly and it’s paid off!
Now my sons sleeping 12 hours rather than chunks of 3/4 hours, self settling, going down on his own for daytime naps and is generally a much happier baby!
Mummy and daddy have enjoyed their first full nights sleep in over a year and I can’t thank Kelly enough for what she’s helped us to achieve!!
My only one regret is that I didn’t do it earlier!
Success beyond all our expectations
I can’t even begin to explain how transformative the help from Sleeping Bunnies has been for our family. For context, we reached out to Sleeping Bunnies when our daughter was 5.5 months old. At this point she was a contact napper, co sleeper, fed to sleep baby that couldn’t sleep more than 25 minutes independently. We were exhausted and my husband and I were desperate to reconnect and spend some time together. I felt we were in a deep dark hole that would be impossible to climb out of, and having tried other popular “gentle” sleep shaping approaches both my daughter and I were traumatised. The screaming and crying were well beyond what I was happy to continue with.
Immediately following our consultation with Kelly we were given a plan appropriate to help reshape our daughters sleep habits and without a hint of a lie, within 3 days, our daughter was having 3 naps in her cot (some over an hour long) and having a few hours without waking in the evening and over night where my husband and I could eat dinner, chat and just generally chill out for a while. The methods were actually gentle and I never felt like my daughter was overly distressed or upset which was such a change from other methods we tried.
We couldn’t believe how quickly things changed. Over the last 4 weeks our daughter has learnt to self settle for all naps, is able to nap for a few hours at a time, wakes 2-3 times a night for feeding (which is fine because of her age) and is sleeping in her cot for all sleep. We were able to ask questions regarding our 21 month old daughter as well which was invaluable as we only needed small tweaks and advice to improve her sleep also.
Our quality of life has improved vastly and we have confidence to continue this approach until our daughter no longer needs feeding over night. Kelly was kind and enthusiastic, responsive and encouraging throughout the whole process - all the things you need while going through this process over the last 4 weeks.
If you feel you are in a similar spot I cannot encourage you enough to take the step and work with Sleeping Bunnies - I’m sure they will transform your life too! The four weeks of support was what we needed to feel like we had enough time to make the progress we wanted.

We were absolutely desperate for better sleep for our baby and for ourselves, Sleeping Bunnies have made such a huge difference and have given us our sanity back! We have gone from contact naps that last 30 minutes maximum, co-sleeping and waking countless times through the night to a little girl that is no longer dependent on a dummy and is now capable of independent naps and sleeping long stretches through the night in her own room! Kristie has been absolutely fabulous throughout our time working with Sleeping Bunnies and I cannot recommend them enough… she worked with and responded to our family’s individual needs until we finally found what worked for us and we will be eternally grateful for the wonderful advice, knowledge and support! From waking up every 2 hours to waking up once overnight ☁️
My 6 month old son would wake up every 2 hours during the night and would only be fed to sleep. His naps were very short during the day and I could never get anything done or have a bit of time to myself. Thanks to Karlie, my now 7 month old son sleeps longer stretches and only wakes up once during the night. I am very positive that we are heading in the right direction to him sleeping through the night. His naps are so much better and he doesn’t need my help to fall asleep! Karlie’s tips were great! We are very appreciative of her help ❣️.
Not as gentle as we'd hoped or the support we needed
We have thought about whether to leave this review and we hope it helps others decide if Sleeping Bunnies is right for them.
We came to Sleeping Bunnies confused about what would be best to help our nearly 2 year old daughter have less distressing bedtimes and get better sleep. Portions of their advice were and continue to be helpful including:
--Bringing bedtime and nap earlier in the day
--Going from floor bed to cot (this made bedtime less frustrating for us)
--Moving from lullabies to white noise
-- The plan we were given was always clear and we were offered follow up communication and adaptations to the plan.
Unfortunately, other parts of the approach were not a good fit for our family. We chose Sleeping Bunnies for sleep support due to their description of their approach as ‘wholeheartedly responsive’. We perhaps should have asked more questions first, but had assumed this meant that separation-based strategies that would distress our daughter would be off the table. Our daughter is adopted and had early life experiences which lead us to feeling strongly that it is vital that we respond consistently to her need for co-regulation, including at bedtime and overnight. Sleeping Bunnies advocates separation-based sleep training methods and while we were given a few options for which ones to use (Soothe, Settle Repeat or Gradual Retreat) we ultimately found that whatever form it took, separation while falling asleep was just too distressing for our daughter and we were not willing to persevere with ‘teaching’ her to stop signalling for us. Neither us nor our daughter were on board with us being only minimally responsive to her needs at bedtime or overnight or us continuing to leave the room/move further away when it only distressed her. We didn’t find that our sleep coach really took on board our daughter’s particular history and why this meant we needed a different approach which embraced closeness and co-regulation rather than a focus on training children to accept a lack of parental presence. The plan didn't feel tailored to our family's needs. After finishing with Sleeping Bunnies, we found our way back to co-sleeping which has been a relief to us all and led to our daughter being more settled and us having less disrupted nights.
Different families of course need different approaches and we appreciate for many families using separation-based sleep training methods will feel like a step they’re willing to take. If it is not, perhaps look elsewhere for support. We’ve found Lyndsay Hookway’s book 'Still Awake' helpful. If you’re in the particular circumstance of parenting a care-experienced child, perhaps consider getting support from Sheila Franklin of Phase Change Parenting who trained with Lyndsay Hookway and has lots of experience working with fostered and adopted children.

Cannot thank Kelly enough for everything she did for me, helping to get my unruly 2 year old to a point where she is now happily self settling at a sensible time, and actually sleeping through the night! Considering when we started 4 weeks ago I was spending my whole evening trying to get her to sleep, getting practically no sleep because she was waking so much, and having a sore back because she would end up sandwiched in the middle of us! It’s like some kind of magical transformation I really can’t recommend this enough. When I contacted sleeping bunnies I was in dire straits, desperate for something to change. I look back now and only wish I had contacted them sooner.
Gentle approach to improving sleep
Karlie was a massive help in getting our little ones sleep under control. Previously we were having to lie next to the cot to get her to sleep, she would wake multiple times in the night and end up coming into our bed at some point in the night. We decided to get help with this as we are expecting another baby so we needed her sleeping consistently in her cot for when baby number 2 arrives. Karlie’s approach was really gentle and we could comfort our little one any time she got upset. We had used a sleep consultant in the past who had a very different approach and wanted us to leave her to cry which we just weren’t happy doing. Within a few weeks we were able to put her down in the cot and leave the room at bed time and she would go to sleep on her own. She is sleeping more consistently and no longer needs to come into our bed during the night. Thanks so much Karlie for all your help, we really appreciate it!
The best decision we have ever made
Working with Sleeping Bunnies has been the best decision we have ever made and Karlie has changed our lives. We have always loved Sleeping Bunnies approach to little ones sleep and we had so many great foundation in place thanks to their amazing workshops, however after the 4 month sleep regression our now 6 month old was waking every 2 hours at night, needed rocking to sleep, short naps or long contact naps on us in the daytime. Within 3 days, we were on the right number of naps, age appropriate wake windows and self settling for all naps and bedtime in her own room. After two weeks we decided to remove the dummy which was a huge goal for us and we managed to achieve this on the first attempt with minimal upset. We still have one night wake which we are working on however compared to where we were 4 weeks ago this is not an issue for us. I would recommend Sleeping Bunnies to anyone who is looking to establish better sleep with a gentle and baby led approach. We will 100% be working with Karlie / Sleeping Bunnies in the future.
