Avoid Slick Gorilla at all costs

Avoid Slick Gorilla at all costs. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My order arrived in a damaged shipping box and the gift box inside was bent and unusable.
I contacted them immediately about the damage and also because I had ordered the day before their Black Friday sale. I asked if they could honour the discount. Instead of helping, they told me I needed to return only the outer gift box packaging so they could issue a new one. This was an absurd response to a problem caused by their shipping, and it showed no willingness to actually fix anything.
Since then I have emailed repeatedly asking for a return label or any proper support. They have completely ignored every message. No replies and no effort to resolve the issue.
Because they refused to address anything, I have been forced to raise a dispute through my bank.
An absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. I will never order from them again.

Happy Boyfriend

Brought as a gift for my boyfriend who hasn't really got a routine in place and he loved it! Really helped with frizz and defining curls. Hoping to buy another set for him soon.

I contacted Slick Gorilla about not receiving my order 258246 on 27/10. I was pleasantly surprised that I received a response very quickly on same day to say delivery was attempted 16/10. I was away with work at that time but could see on our ring doorbell that a delivery had been made, I emailed back to Slick Gorilla to explain this and I would be in touch once I was home. However once home and on further investigation it turned out the delivery was not from Slick Gorilla but another item for my husband. (all information was detailed on my 2nd email) I have since emailed slick Gorilla a further 2 times to ask for more delivery information 2/11 and again on 6/11 but have received no response. Now feeling very disappointed.

Original review was not great due to lack of communication. However after speaking with Peter from Slick Gorilla within an hour a full explanation of the missing order and a full refund was processed.
I have now changed my rating to reflect fantastic customer service. Thank you.

I haven’t yet received the items almost…

I haven’t yet received the items almost a month on - whilst one was an advent calendar I expected the other item to have already been dispatched and with me but I am yet to receive anything and can only presume they’ll be dispatched together soon. Very annoying though but son does love the products.

Update: thanks for your reply(I have edited the rating stars to show my appreciation of response and explanation) I will edit review once the items are received on the week you have now stated.

We’re really sorry to hear you haven’t received your order yet — we completely understand how frustrating that is, especially when one of the items is time-sensitive like an advent calendar. That’s not the experience we want for anyone ordering from Slick Gorilla.

Just for clarity, we do display several notices during checkout explaining that orders that contain a pre order item are held and dispatched together once all products are back in stock. The product page also stated that dispatch would be w/c November 3rd at the latest.

Even with that information provided, we know delays are still annoying when you’re the one waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience. If you have any further questions or need an update, our customer service team will be happy to help and can look into your order right away.

This is for a 6 year old little boy…

This is for a 6 year old little boy with a mass of messy hair. He now looks super cool and loves it. Really good at taming the bed hair before school.
Lost a star due to size of bottle for the price.
