AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Terrible product, worse customer service

Terrible product, terrible customer service. AVOID!! I received a defective product. It didn’t fit and, despite SW’s claims, smudged and showed fingerprints. Of course, they blamed me. When I asked for help, I got sucked into an endless loop of weeks and weeks of emails from “Jess” or “Matt” promising several times to send a “free replacement” THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR!! Horrible company. No wonder they get so many poor ratings.

Update 1: After posting this review, “Jess” emailed and said they’d send a truly free replacement. After I confirmed the order, she emailed again saying this time that they WOULD NOT SHIP the replacement unless I took down the review. Deception and broken promises on top of it all!? Stay tuned…

Update 2: No WONDER this company has so many lousy reviews! SW cancelled delivery of the truly-free replacement product after I advised that I would not be taking down the negative reviews they forced me to leave. So now, I'm left with a terrible experience AND a useless product as well as, apparently, the company showing me their proverbial "middle finger." AVOID THIS PRODUCT AND COMPANY!

I received my order for my Fold 6…

I received my order for my Fold 6 today. However, after a few hours, the edges of the wrap started to shrink, and I can see the original color of my phone's back. I understand that this can happen to wraps like this, but it is quite annoying that it happened so quickly. I have purchased skins before, and they have typically lasted for a few weeks before starting to shrink.

Poor Quality Products & Very Shady Practices

Poor quality products. Any negative feedback in reviews is suppressed by the vendor. Replacement pieces have exorbitant shipping fees. Lots of bad history on the web for this vendor. Do some quick searches to see before taking a large risk on them.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I can't believe I tried them out twice. I just found out this company was banned from reddit for creating fake accounts to eliminate down votes. So, don't believe all these raving 5 stars reviews. Do your due diligence, they actually have a terrible reputation across most review sites.

First time I was overseas for a month and thought that would be more than enough time to receive my order, according to their estimated time to ship. Never received my order in time. Who knows if they even sent it.

More recently, I ordered a wrap for my phone and they sent the wrong one. After sending them an email showing them their mistake with a picture that showed the wrap I actually wanted in the order summary, they still pretended it was my fault and gave me 2 options.
1. Pay to send back incorrect wrap and then pay shipping for the new wrap
2. Keep the wrong wrap and Pay for shipping of the one I actually wanted.

So in essence they wanted me to pay more either way, for a mistake they made. Terrible customer service experience. Made me feel like I was the one that did something wrong.

Apple Pencil Pro wraps do not fit - faulty design

I purchased a wrap for the new Apple Pencil Pro but the wrap I received is too short for the pencil. As a result, the wrap starts to peel off. Their support is unresponsive. I believe there is clearly a design issue with wrap and unsuspecting will be left with a worthless wrap. Avoid buying this product.

Response to vendor’s comment: Thanks for the reference to an Instagram post. As you can see, it proves my point that there is a design issue. The post cleverly fails to show the top of the pencil which lacks a wrap. You can see from Slickwarps' own installation video posted on YouTube what the finished product should look like but that’s not what the Instagram post shows.

I placed the order using Apple Pay so it’s unlikely to be a searchable email. I have tried to communicate with you through your email contact on your website and also using the link provided with the order confirmation email but I am still waiting for feedback. In addition, I have posted two product reviews that included pictures that have been redacted from your website - one of these reviews is an exact copy of this Trustpilot review. Reviews required my email contact info but even then you failed to contact me and only after I posted to a more public and independent site that there is a response. I don't even know how to contact you.

There is a fundamental design flaw in the Apple Pencil Pro wrap and ask customers to think carefully about this product before making a decision. Overall, my experience shows that Slickwraps lacks integrity.

I will keep these review contents to ensure other customers are aware until there is a genuine attempt to address the design flaw. The cynic inside me says that you will continue to sell the wrap to unsuspecting customers until stocks are depleted.

I don't understand the hate everything went great

I recently ordered a custom-made skin for my laptop from Slickwraps, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Despite some negative feedback on the internet, my experience was nothing short of excellent. The delivery from the USA to the Netherlands took approximately 6 to 10 days, which was impressively quick.
Unfortunately, the skin I initially received was poorly cut, with the design slightly misaligned from where I had placed it. However, machines are probably responsible for the cutting process, so these things can happen. When I reached out to customer support, I was amazed by how they handled the situation. They guided me through the process with great care, immediately helping me to specify my wishes for a new skin. They sent the replacement to me for free, and it arrived in perfect condition.
I cannot say anything negative about Slickwraps. Sometimes you just have bad luck, but their exceptional customer service turned the situation around for me. I will definitely recommend Slickwraps to everyone and will be ordering from them again.

What arrived was some sticky labels even though the website clearly shows a faceplate and has no mention to the fact you are only buying sticky labels.

This website should be shut down or at least be made to advise clearly what customer might be buying. Buyers Be Wary 90% of customers have had a bad experience never seen such a poor score for any other Company.
