Huge scam. No refunds. Terrible customer service.

Huge scam. I paid $29.99 for the MLB.TV but it still wanted me to pay $25.99 to watch the MLB game. I had been subscribed to sling for about an hour but they said in their terms and conditions there’s no refunds or credits. They kept telling me it was an issue with my ISP so I called my ISP and they confirmed in three different ways it was all correct in their system. Customer service cut me off twice.

Sling lies to get out of honoring $5.41 refund

I bought the Sling Orange day pass to watch the Vikings game, at 12:08 pm on Sunday, Oct 19.
That game was not available, as we quickly found out. So after we did find it on FUBO free trial, I went to chat to ask for a refund. They were going to happily oblige me right up until they alleged at 12:37 (time from purchase, 29 minutes) that we had already been watching for 40 minutes and therefore they could not honor the refund.
I informed them that due to their faulty math, I'd be leaving a review here on Trustpilot.
They lied over $5.41. I don't even know how they were doing the math.

Sling is the worst service I’ve ever had. It’s set up to have 4-5 streamers per account. I’m the only one on my account and it either kicks me out or lags on the highest network capabilities. Don’t waste your money. Sling is a scam

After cancelling sling tv.is absolutely the most dishonest parasite had even after I noticed they were still charging me. The telephone number that the credit card company provided was out of service.Even a copy of the written communicaion with Sling that as of 4/15/ 25 may subscription would the end of the term in May they continued contest my claim that my Claim was wrong. I do not recommend subscribing.

Sling on some channels you record does…

Sling on some channels you record does not allow you to fast forward ads These are channels they have contracts with. They do not explain that when you sign up. My solution is to not record the channels that have these contracts. You will be able to tell once you try to fast forward. There are channels who do not enter into these contracts. When shows on these channels wonder why they are loosing viewers maybe they will stop. Apparently it also depends on the show itself. If your happy with that Sling is ok for the price.

Golden Rule Breaker

Tried to cancel services that ended the day before and they insisted on charging for another month, said we use one hour and fifty minutes during the next billing period. asked for them to prorate and they refused. ridiculous business practice clearly they know they aren't going to be around very long.

Sling Ducks Suck!

I had been on medical leave for awhile & asked a customer service representative for a small break on one month's streaming service & was almost instantly told "Nope!"!!!!! I cancelled my service the next day which had 20 days left & Sling does not give prorated credits for cancelled service! Best part, I was offered discounts when I went to cancel, & I said "Nope!"! They are selfish, money grubbing ducks!!!!

Everything about it is slow and clunky

Everything about it is slow and clunky. I ordered the Orange + Blue package, but come to fine out, you can only stream Orange channels on 1 device at a time, but can stream Blue on 3 devices at a time. Also, every aspect of customer service is terrible. I canceled in less than 24 hours.

Don’t even bother playing sling rewards. It’s a total scam to get you to watch 30 minutes a day. I have won two $5 credits in the rewards and they refuse to credit my bill saying “because I pay with my Amazon account.” I’m still paying it out of my own pocket no matter which way I do it! Total scam, I will NOT play the rewards anymore because they obviously have no intention of ever actually giving you the stuff you actually win!! Customer service is useless and refuses to fix the issue.

Bought a gift card to renew my service, they didn't renew correctly and kept the remaining balance for themselves. Customer service is a damn joke. Nobody seems to be able to explain where my gift card balance is. I will never use sling tv again.

Steaming Pile of Greed


They just want free money, plain and simple.
My mistake was not double-checking the cancellation, but their mistake is actively ripping off customers. They charged me for six full months of service I never touched! I have logs; I haven't logged in or used their streaming service at all for the entire period they were happily draining my account.
And for this six months of literal non-usage, what's their generous compensation? A pathetic one-month refund. They are intentionally profiting by penalizing a customer for a simple oversight. This is not a service; it's a predatory subscription trap. Do not sign up.

I'm cancelling my Sling subscription, you should too!

I got a Sling subscription because of football and baseball were supposed to be on there with the type of package I selected. I went to watch a baseball game today and a screen came up that said it was blocked. Blackout. So, I contacted them but, of course I get the bot. The bot sends me to tech support and a screen comes up and says to pay them $5 for them to help me. I'm already paying them, for this month anyway. I'll not pay them a cent more. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as you can. Nothing but a headache.

Terrible interface and misleading channels

Terrible interface that is somewhat confusing and stops working from time to time directing you to leave the app and re-enter(on a smart TV). Misleading sign up information advertising channels that can only be accessed by add-ons. Cumbersome to use and takes some time to load each time you enter the app(on a smart TV). Researching better options. Have Orange and Blue packages. Thumbs down

BAIT AND SWITCH

On an official Sling website they offer a deal to receive an Airtv device if you pay three months in advance. After you order the service they refuse to honor the Airtv device offer. Customer service is absolutely useless and refuse to transfer to a supervisor.
