Very pleased with my new Slouch office…
Very pleased with my new Slouch office chair. Form and function boxes fully ticked. I initially had Slouch vs Herman Miller as my two end choices and it ultimately came down to price to value, and provenance. It feels good to support a British company.
The chair itself is super comfy. Having had two lower back operations I was particularly concerned about degree of support and comfort. If your choice is between Slouch or HM I would 100% recommend Slouch.

A mixed response
Although a request was made to delay the delivery of the chair because of a forced absence from home, this was ignored and an attempt was made to deliver the chair whilst I was away. I had to contact the carriers to schedule a redelivery at a later date.
The chair itself is good, but, disappointingly, no instruction leaflet was included on its various controls and adjustments. I consider this to be a serious omission. One control is still a mystery to me! A telephone request to Slouch about this remains unanswered, despite a specific request for a response. Customer service could be better.

Our customer advisor did submit a request to delay the shipment due to your absence, but unfortunately the order slipped through before the change could take effect. We understand how frustrating that must have been and appreciate you arranging the redelivery with the carrier.
We’re also sorry to hear about the confusion around the chair’s controls. Normally, there is a leaflet included in the box which contains a QR code linking to videos that demonstrate the chair’s adjustments and features. Though we appreciate that some customers would prefer a printed guide as well.
We’re sorry too that we missed your call when you tried to contact us. I do believe that our customer care team got in touch with you since and assisted with the setup of the chair.
We’re glad to hear you’re pleased with the chair itself and we really appreciate the feedback, as it helps us continue to improve both our processes and customer service.

Great chair
I had been suffering from back pain for a while. As a result of changing to the Slouch chair, I no longer suffer from back pain.
Initially the price of the Slouch chair put me off. With the value of hindsight I wish I had purchased the chair sooner. Definitely would recommend.

My Slouch chair was delivered and I realised I should have bought the advanced mechanism. I emailed them and received a reply from Luke saying if I sent the chair back they would send a replacement. I told him I no longer had the box it came in. He emailed me back saying they could send another chair out and return the old one in that box. Absolutely fantastic customer support. Also the chair, task one, is a brilliant all day comfortable P.C. chair.
