App is a scam. More money taken out than advertised. Half the meditations dont load even though I paid premium. Ai voice content. Its a basic meditation app, nothing psychadelic as they claim.

This app is very terrible
This app is very terrible. I have found free hrs sounds on YouTube much better. It charged extra fees and did not disclose extra cost. Not worth the 70.00 , like I said better free on YouTube. So now they are claiming or I should say lying regarding hidden fees… they are bots to all reviews. Sad they put their ads on most social medias with given pricing on various months but do not disclose an extra fee. Extra 39.98. Very concerning how these app companies are not regulated by our app provider with Apple and Samsung. China owned so they may get some of the proceeds..

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SLOWDIVE
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SLOWDIVE.
I wanted a subscription for 19.99. Received a call from my bank immediately. Not only was I charged $19.99 but also $39.99 and $80.99. One charge is pending. I have to talk with my bank to refuse the charge. The app is not what Slowdive portrays it to be. Definitely a fraudulent company.

I was happy to take the 4 week plan but the way the next pages on the app are presented is deceitful. I word 'Continue' appears over the option to 'Skip'. As such I was charged for two services I did not require nor intended to purshase. I have emailed support requiring full refund of all three payments. This company cannot be trusted.

I am very dissapointed by Slowdive app. I purchased 4 weeks plan for 18 euro and suddenly received 2 invoices: the first one for 18 euro and the second one for 45 euro (2 other products that I did not order at all) !!! I asked for refund, no answer!

Thanks Reviewers
I was contemplating purchasing Slowdive but thanks to these honest reviews, there’s no way I would purchase such a scam. Thank you to the reviewers! I will be sure to spread the word to others about Slowdive!

As others say…this is a scam
As others say…this is a scam.
It’s initially a Bait and switch scam …initial offer of a $19.99 deal. Then it is invoiced for 2x $19.99 + VAT…then instantly taken to a page to “offer you” a year’s membership for a further $90.
They then attempted to take multiple transactions from my account and my bank thankfully flagged this as fraudulent and bounced these attempts.
While they might offer a “product”, it would appear from other’s reviews attempting to take unauthorised transactions from your account is standard practice.
It’s just a numbers game for them.

Buyer beware
As a daily meditator for the past 52 years, I was very impressed with the Slowdive advertising but thought their frequency sounds were overly hyped for the claimed benefits. I then searched for reviews and it became clear that almost everyone had a bad experience with being overcharged. I have had great experiences the past 2 years using the Brain Evolution System sound frequencies to deepen my meditation practice. It is legit, it works. I say this so people who wanted the benefits from Slowdive but cannot trust the company or the product, can now have a safe alternative. One time price, no renewals, you download and own it for life.

A multi invoice scam
Do not download this app, instead read the other TrustPilot reviews and use an alternative TrustPilot well rated app.
Updated:
The business reached out publicly, this is my response, to negate their actions.
Dear SlowDive Support Team,
I am writing in response to your recent public reply to my Trustpilot review.
I would like to clarify the circumstances that led to my review, as your response does not accurately reflect my experience.
On Friday evening, I received a fraud alert text message from my bank at approximately 23:30 (see attached screenshot), regarding unauthorised transactions made to “Slowdiv*Slowdive”. These transactions were dated 30/01/2026 and amounted to multiple separate charges. I had not authorised these payments, beyond the initial trial period I agreed to.
Following this, I was required to contact my bank and confirm that I had not made three separate purchases on your platform. As a direct result, my debit card was cancelled to prevent any further unauthorised charges being taken by your business.
This process caused significant inconvenience and concern, particularly late at night, and required urgent action to protect my finances.
For clarity:
1 . I authorised only the initial trial.
2. I did not authorise subsequent multiple charges.
3. My bank treated these transactions as suspicious.
4. My card was cancelled to prevent further losses.
Under the Fraud Act 2006, unauthorised use of payment details may constitute fraudulent activity. Additionally, under the Communications Act 2003 and relevant UK consumer protection and digital transaction regulations, customers are entitled to transparency and protection from misleading or unauthorised billing practices.
Furthermore, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, including clear and fair billing arrangements.
Your public request for “subscription details” does not address the central issue: multiple unauthorised charges were attempted, triggering bank fraud prevention measures.
My Trustpilot review reflects a genuine and verifiable experience supported by bank records and fraud alerts. It is therefore accurate and will remain.
I am open to constructive resolution, but this must begin with acknowledgement of the inconvenience, distress, and financial risk caused by these transactions, rather than implying that the matter arose from a lack of communication on my part.
Please ensure that my details have been fully removed from your billing systems and that no further attempts will be made to charge my account.
I expect confirmation of this in writing.

I was charged $250 for a one year plan that I did not ask for after paying $17 for a special short plan. I contacted support and nothing. Cancelled my credit card to prevent further fraudulent payments being taken from me.

Slowdive charged my credit card more…
Slowdive charged my credit card more than twice the amount advertised. I see from other reviews that this is a common occurrence. The company responds that the customer must have selected additional products during signup, but I can tell you that the additional charges went on my card before I even had a chance to accept or refuse their additional "Lucid Dreaming" option. As far as I could see, there was no option to decline that add-on anyway. I ended up cancelling my credit card and reporting fraud. I'm really mad at this company that scams people trying to improve their mental health. What a grimy hustle.

They charges you for more than you order
I have bought the app for 19,99€ and 67,37€ has been charged from my account. I have asked support What I have paid for, but no answer. They promise you Can cancel the order, if you are dissatisfied with the product, you just have to provide the invoice number, but i have not received any invoices either…

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO fraudulent SLOWDIVE!!
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO SLOWDIVE!!! This is another incident of the same issues already reported. I wanted to trial it (on 2January) and was immediately charged $24.99, with a 2nd charge of $41.58. Fortunately my bank identified an issue and declined the $41.58 charge, and I attempted locate a phone number to call SlowDive to cancel and get refund. There is no way to reach them to cancel or to discuss—no email, no phone number, no company information/support. I have reported to bank and will continue to pursue. Unfortunate that this app is a scam considering it is marketed for mental health.

FRAUDE SLOWDRIVE APP
I wanted to try this app, but as my payment didn't came trough, I aborted the payment. I never used this app, because I thought the payment was aborted and I never got any cobfirmation!...By checking my payments I discovered they already took twice money from my account...first time 18,14 euro, and the end of this month the double: 36, 20 euro.
This is scandalous and SCAM! I want my money back asap and the cancelation of the abonment I never wanted!! I already warned Instagram and facebook about this FRAUDE!

I had to cancel my debit card
I had to cancel my debit card. I did the three month/$24 option and as soon as that transaction went through they tried to push through two other charges almost immediately. My bank stopped it and flagged it as fraud.
What a jerk thing to do.
I wish this company and people the karma they deserve.

SCAM
SCAM. As many have already reported, signed up for 4 weeks - all of a sudden I was changed 3 times! As other have said, 12mth upgrade and 2 course on top (all the same as others have reported). One or two people, may be an error, this many reviews, all reporting the same thing, and no changes made on your end, 100% SCAM.
It’s so common, you have a link to a form ready to go.
Only 2 of 3 payments are showing as pending refunds, however both are less than what was deducted. I have receive 2 of 3 payment emails confirming refund. I wonder if this is your secondary scam, trying to refund 2 of 3 payments, and in lesser amounts, in hope people don’t notice.
VERY DODGY- do not sign up

Beware …
Same scam as seems to have been played on everyone else. I signed up for a four week trial and was charged Euros 14- then immediately after I was further charged Euros 38.88 for two more courses I have no interest in. A checkout box must be automatic ticked - interesting that they send you separate invoices! There is of course no invoice for the two courses - so of course I cannot ask for a refund. The Refund Policy is a joke anyway - if you want a refund you need to get past the AI bots and provide ludicrous levels of detail - including device serial numbers! Take a look…. And then avoid at all costs. I wish I had.

Real scammers, they sell me a personal plan for me in Spanish, I make the 3-month payment, and it turns out that the application does not have meditations in Spanish, everything is in English so I can't use it, I have asked for a refund and they tell me that they can't do it for me
