I was without a dishwasher for 6…

I was without a dishwasher for 6 weeks.once an engineer came ,there was no communication from you at all I had to keep phoning for information.I eventually pressed option 2 and the guys there were very helpful and got the ball rolling.I then got the dishwasher.Your team need to communicate with the public,keeping the. Informed.

Cannot contact

All too easy to take out a policy with them and all too difficult to get an answer on the 'phone or by email. We will cancel our policy and go to Domestic & General instead. At least they answer the 'phone within a couple of minutes. Next time I takle out a policy with this awful company I will read the reviews!

Poor service and lack of communication

It took 9 weeks and 10 phone calls to get my replacement gas hob. At times I was on hold for 25 minutes before giving up. My details weren't correct so I missed calls and my final delivery date was booked for the wrong time. Everyone I spoke to was very polite and courteous but very poor communication and service 🙁

Kousha is fantastic!

Kousha is fantastic!

Made everything so easy and helpful and very knowledgeable. He helped me after trying for a week I finally found the company he is with and he has sorted everything as what I needed was a little more complicated.

Look forward to sorting my renewal next year with him. Thank you again,

These are the worst people ever

These are the worst people ever. I’ve had this insurance for years never claimed and the for first time I’m trying to claim over a broken cooker they’ve been turning me in twists.
It’s been over a week and someone is yet to phone so o can give them the details of what happened, yet I’ve phoned twice. They keep saying that someone will get back to me in 24 hours. I’m considering getting a new cooker now but I feel nothing but strong disappointment and dislike for them

Lack of communication and transparency

Lack of communication and transparency. From the first contact of registering my claim (and paying my excess there and then), I was the one who had to keep calling for an update, being told I would receive an email/phone call and an engineer would be coming out the next day - which they didn't (happened twice). An error on their payment system delayed them paying the engineer which then had an added delay on them coming out to me. Took 3 days for a manager to call back - I had to call again to remind them I was still waiting. The whole experience was poor, I can't fault the 'customer service' of the staff when I did call, they remained professional however the lack of communication received was unacceptable.

Excellent customer service.

Good,fast ,reliable service.I have been with smart cover for many years and recently renewed my policy with a discounted price .I am happy with their customer service, they always answer my calls quick and deal with my inquiries fast .Well done to everyone at smartsure.I highly recommend to everyone.

Dishwasher warranty

Search on the internet. Found a way to insure the dishwasher against breakdown after the manufacturer’s warranty had expired. The price was £3 cheaper than offered by the manufacturer’s warranty

I was looking for a cheaper insurance…

I was looking for a cheaper insurance than the renewal price of my current insurance. On a comparison site I found Smart Sure and Smart Cover. I gave them a ring and was dealt with by a very patient person who never lost patience with my questions or my umming and arring and explained the difference between the different policies and different prices very clearly, suggesting the policy he thought would suit me best. I will be contacting them again when each of my other insured items are due for renewal.

Just rang smart sure to ask if my…

Just rang smart sure to ask if my policy would cover for a loss of hot water, bearing in mind I have a policy with them since 2020 and have never called them out, it turns out my policy covers my boiler but not loss of hot water, however, if my heating was not working I would be covered.
Although they called me back quickly I feel that I have been mislead into paying a policy monthly for nearly 4 years unfair!

My fridge freezer stopped working and…

My fridge freezer stopped working and although a replacement appliance has been agreed I have to wait 3 weeks until delivery. I was also sent an email thanking me for taking out a new policy and my current policy doesn't expire until June. I am over 70 and this experience has really upset me. I have even had to resort to booking hotel accommodation as I cannot manage without a fridge.
