Best short term storage facility servicing the Inner West of Sydney
I needed a fast storage solution in a hurry and, after conducting a google search, came across Smartbox who were more than willing to accommodate my storage needs at very short notice.
Communication was fast, friendly and easy and i was given all the information i needed to make an informed choice from their storage options that suited my requirements.

Smartbox is a wonderful idea which translated to a marvellous solution!
We used the service to declutter our home prior to sale. It saved us so much time. The two Smartboxes were delivered as promised! The service provided a team of guys to move the heavy pieces into the Smartboxes.
The team worked so well together and they were extremely careful with our items and also were mindful of not damaging the house.
A wonderful result.

Not happy Jan. 😡
The reason that I gave 1 star was my disappointment with the operation team letting me down with the redelivery with my smartbox. It was delivered 10 hours later. The agreed time was between 11.00am to 1.00pm. I had friends and relatives waiting to lend a hand with the unloading but I had to sent them home. The smartbox was delivered at about 9.30 pm when I returned home from work. I had to unload all the contents with just me and my wife the next morning. Not happy Jan. 👎

Kind and convenient, more company’s like SMARTBOX please!
During covid there was a sudden need to move and boarder closures meant I couldn’t move home and needed storage. Efficient understanding and deeply caring. Words are not often associated with moving out and storage companies but switch the SMARTBOX team it is what I got. They were the opposite of salesy and gave what I needed even though it was cheaper than what I initially needed. Who does that ?! Generosity from our driver to the team made the experience with the convenient service a 10/10..

The admin people where fantastic, I had to change the date the box was delivered which was no problem. They kept me updated at all times.
John who delivered the box was a Dwight such a friendly nice man. Informed me off when he was arriving, showed me what I needed to do. And as I was getting it picked up on same day, gave me time to pack everything.

The return of the storage boxes was a seamless services. They arrived on time and the hand over of each box was smooth. The delivery cost was reasonable and I was happy with the service. However the stacking of the boxes was terrible service which we would never recommend. The packers were inexperienced, damaged our furniture and made the process extremely stressful.

A great service ethic
I didn’t quite get the delivery time I was looking for due to high demand. That said the service I received from every person; from the booking managers to the delivery and pick up drivers was very helpful, always polite and made for a really manageable move. Thank you everyone.

Awesome to deal with no hassles what so ever. Forget packing all your gear taking it to self storage having to pick it up again and reload and unpack. They drop it off to you, load your stuff in and when you’re ready drop it off wherever you need. Smartbox is the most convenient and hassle free concept when it comes to storage and moving everyone should be using them

Snake found in belongings after being storage with this company !
Had 2 trailers in storage for 5 weeks , when returned to house one had a 6ft Python in it, When approached management about concerns about how this could have happened management completely disregarded me to the point where they were to gutless to even contact me back ! Would never recommend them to anyone and will be plastering my storey everywhere so people know how unsafe there service is!

I'm sure it was extremely distressing finding a snake when unpacking your storage items. I have to disagree that you were disregarded. You contacted our office to advise of the situation on Saturday, October 10 (with the storage units being returned on Friday, October 9). I personally contacted you on Monday morning, October 12 and also spoke with your husband later in the week. To say we disregarded or ignored you is incorrect.
There is no way a snake could make it's way into a storage unit at our premises. Our facility is highly sceure and we undertake regular pest control maintenance. We have never heard of anything like this nor any other infestation of any kind. There can be no doubt the snake found its way into the trailer and in turn the storage unit after being returned to you. Nobody is at fault here. It is obviously a highly unusual occurrence and I certainly sympathise with the distress you faced.
I will contact you again so if there is anything else you would like to raise you will have every opportunity to do so. My apologies if you felt your feedback was not answered thoroughly. Again, a highly unusual situation, I'm not sure what else you expected from us but I look forward to speaking again so we can clarify any potential misunderstanding.
