To improve quality of photo
Efficient on timing but nowadays I feel like I am dealing with AI after taking the photo. I took several times until the system would approve my photo.
And the quality (adjustment/ light) of the photo is required to improve.
The system should revise or adjust the photo as for professional photography.

Using the app was easy
Using the app was fairly easy, really straightforward. All is explained clearly I would just have liked an indication that the signature for the driving license should be our actual signature for French papers. I’ve inserted my paraph signature and it was rejected by the administration. Everything else was great :)

Worry free passport photos from your phone
Excellent app. Takes all the worry out of getting passport photos that conform to guidelines. The app guides you through the process and if the images are not up to standard when sent from your phone - they’ll alert you and allow unlimited re-takes. Also provides the digital code as required by the UK. My photo and code was accepted without any problem by UK on line passport app

Needs to speed up
I like doing photo at home. Not keen on the high cost or length of time it takes to approve/decline a photo, that piece needs to be speed up, painful to get kids to sit down and redo photos again and again which could be approved /declined by ai instantaneously . Seems quite picky (more so than an old fashioned Photo Booth)

Don't fall for this app! The civil registry office does not accept these passport photos. The authorities only accept photos from their partners, which are transmitted via a QR code. You pay for a passport photo that is of no use to you. I have not yet received a response to my request for a refund. So if you don't want to go to a photographer, it's better to go to DM. Even DM transmits the photos to the authorities via QR code.
Update 12.01.26:
Why is customer service unable to respond to my message, but I am receiving a response here? I demand my money back, as the app was advertised as being able to create biometric passport photos for infants. The email I received from you states at the bottom that you will get your money back if the photo is not accepted by the authorities. The message that I demand my money back or will take the case to a lawyer has been skillfully ignored so far.

After reviewing your order, we can confirm that you selected a free informal photo, along with a paid option to remove the background. However, this product does not meet the official requirements for a German ID card or passport.
At present, official ID photos for Germany require a specific QR code, which we are unfortunately unable to provide. For this reason, this type of document is no longer offered through our service.
The photo was therefore rejected because the selected product did not correspond to the document you intended to apply for. You did not select the correct document. The informal photo is not a biometric ID photo.
Our customer service is currently experiencing a high volume of requests, but they replied to you this morning.
We remain at your disposal should you have any questions or need guidance toward a more suitable solution.

Pretty straightforward and simple.
I liked that I did everything in the comfort of my home, and it was pretty straightforward and simple. I didn't like the back and forth when my images were not acceptable. The turn-around time was too long. The first time it happened, I was dealing with something else entirely, and had to go back and figure out the picture thing.

The actual process taking the picture…
The actual process taking the picture was easy enough, it was approved on the app, the only challenge was the photo was then rejected by the passport office which meant I had to go and pay again.
