I have nothing but wonderful things to say about smart surrogacy and their awesome staff. They treated me like family and even though i am not new to surrogacy it was great to have the staff there to answer all my questions when i had them. I absolutely love the IP that I am matched with ,it seems like the staff really listen to me because I couldnt have asked for a better IP. All my emails and phone calls where answered back in a very timely manner and I never felt over whelmed.

I applied to be a Surrogate through Smart Surrogacy and was contacted very quickly by Amber, she talked me through the whole process, she worked hard to obtain all my medical records, she always made sure to update me on what was next and always made me feel special. She is a great women and absolutely lovely to work with. Another plus side with working with Smart Surrogacy is that they work with the TOP IVF clinics in the world which makes me feel like I will be very well took in care of. I initially decided to go with Amber at Smart surrogacy because she actually took time to talk to me over the phone and not just through email, communication is a big deal when choosing a agency you want to work with, and Amber has done amazing with that. never would have expected myself becoming a surrogate. I saw myself settling down with the man of my dreams starting a wonderful little family and living life happily ever after. But as I aged and experienced life I realized nothing is ever that cookie cutter perfect. I had my son and although the relationship with his father didn’t work out my current boyfriend loves him and we in fact do have a nice little union. I wanted another child, however my boyfriend had no desire. This put a wrench in my preplanned life, how would I ever fix this desire and carb my appetite to the magical thrills of pregnancy? I found my answer when I was with a close friend of mine and learned her unfortunate tale. She was beautiful, smart, funny, and one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Her genuine nature is one that is hard to find in such a hectic world. However one unfortunate night at a bar with a man who gave her a disease and several years later deep in medication she is now 100% infertile. She had tried many times with her husband and failed with miscarriages every time. I was naïve to the world of infertility. To me it seemed simple. Man meets woman settle down bam baby. But after I learned of her unfortunate setback I did my own research and I realized there are thousands of women and men in this world who are infertile. All of these people such as my friend want more than anything in the world to have a child and have their unity but are unable. So I thought to myself. Here I am 24, already have my son and my bf doesn’t want any so I will in essence be “wasting” what I have. And what that was was a perfectly functioning system to carry a baby for those who cannot. And suddenly my mission to give this opportunity, this joy to another family, was created.

My only trouble? I had no idea what the next step was. I knew what I wanted to be, a surrogate but no idea how to go about the next step. I also realized there was so much more that goes into it than just saying ok, lets do it. There are so many factors to consider when the thought is first made apparent. How does this work? How do you find parents? How do the legalities factor into the process? Insurance? Support, etc.

When I first came in contact with Smart Surrogacy I was skeptical. I had already spoken to an array of agencies and couldn’t find the right fit. Everyone I spoke to treated me so corporate and cold, as if I was a number in a database and if I didn’t stay a number leaving personalization behind they would cease contact. For conservative parents I believe that is ok, however for an agency to approach you in this way it doesn’t make understanding this process any easier.

Smart surrogacy from the very beginning has been entirely human, entirely helpful, and wonderfully transparent. As a child would wander around hopeless for answers and guidance I was embraced with inviting conversation and a lot of information about this process. They first gave me a general understanding of the company, how they got started and what they were all about. And that was a fast, secure, and great process of matching a approved surrogate to searching parents. From assisting with medical appointments, billing, and calling to make sure everything was going according to plan, Smart Surrogacy was there every step of the way. When I was told not even two weeks into the process that they had a few parents picked out I couldn’t conceal the immense excitement inside of me. The parents I ultimately have went with are so kind, communicative and unbelievably humble! Our first skype call guided by the agency was in no way awkward and we were all so excited we at times would talk at the same time forgetting to breath. From the parents, to the medical staff for IVF, to the Lawyers, this agency helps to find the best of the best. There are so many unfortunate people who can be helped with this amazing process and this is the agency to do it with.

I highly recommend working with them as a Intended Parents , Surrogate, or Egg Donor. It truly is a wonderful experience and I plan to do more surrogacies with them until I am kicked away.

To get set up as a surrogate and matched with an intended parent was an easy process. Amber was very quick to reply by phone, text, or email. I am very excited to continue this journey with this agency to help guide me. After a visit with my doctor for medical clearance the whole process was quick and easy. I would recommend this agency for any woman looking to become a surrogate. I plan on having one more surrogate baby and I will be using Amber and Smart Surrogacy.
