Amazing burgers, tasty wraps and insane chips! My 63 year old mum who won’t eat McDonald’s demolished a burger here! Her only complaint is that she couldn’t get a coffee.

Amazing food, reasonable price for the ammount of food you get, exceptional service, really friendly and fast customer service

Very friendly, polite and helpful staff, really tasty food with great size portions more than enough. myself and my daughter had the burgers, shared a portion of chips and it was but was plenty. But I have to say the icing on the cake is the sundaes mcflurrys have nothing on these slightly more in price but bigger and well worth the extra. The best sundae I've ever had highly recommended.

We called at opening time yesterday, 4pm (21/06/2024) in Fenton, having seen this place on Rate My Takeaway. We think that it is great. We ordered three Original Burgers, skin on fries, sweet potato fries & ham & bacon fries. The beef Pattie’s are one of the best we’ve tasted, really hearty ground beef. The hot sauce is exactly that: HOT 🥵 as it should be & the fries were very well cooked. Even the sweet potato fries were crisp. I have to give a shout out to the service as well. A group of polite young people caring for their customers & providing a really good customer service experience, they are a credit to Smash on Trent. How other reviewers on here can comment on the health choice of the food is beyond me? You don’t go into a burger joint expecting kale smoothies & salads. This place is no less healthy than Five Guys, Burger King or any other fast food outlet, & if you rate it on that you have missed the point, or you are being very unfair. Keep up the good work Smash on Trent & hopefully we’ll see you thrive in the city.

It's my first time having a Smash Burger and I loved it I highly recommend the restaurant and also the Staff members were friendl, got served by Gideon.

worse food ever, inedible and made to create diabetes. ordered the honey siracha fries (costed £10 for a measly portion of awful chips btw), they came drenched, like actually wet. it was a couple of chips in a bath of a watery-honey like substance. it was possibly the worst food i have ever tasted in my life. binned immediately. don’t order from here unless you want to die at 35 and/or hate nice food. 0/5 is a more accurate rating.

Amazing service, lovely staff, excellent food

I ordered fire bird burger but I was left disappointed with the experience. The burger, which I had enjoyed in the past, seemed smaller this time around, and to add insult to injury, I was charged extra for fire sauce, which failed to salvage the dryness of the patty. Overall, it was a letdown.

I ordered a burger which didn’t have cheese listed in the ingredients (I don’t like cheese) but as it wasn’t listed, I didn’t ask for there to be none on there. When it came, it had 3 slices on so I rang up and she said I was right about it not being listed but the best she can do it offer me 10% off when I next go in store! Awful customer service, good job I wasn’t allergic

OK wasn't the cheapest burger aroundr but the tastiest takeaway burger we've had by far. Will deffo be having from here again. Not chaep burgers but freshly made patties. Would recommend to anyone.

Did not deliver the whole order and then once calling them about the missing item they said that there was nothing that they could do despite the delivery driver telling them that they had not given him the complete order. Absolutely disgusting customer service, I won't be ordering from them again.

That was the best burger I've ever had!! Had the dirty burger and the size, quality and atmosphere of the place. Not from the area but had a laugh with the staff who keep the place clean. For a little place, you can tell it's well liked because they have loads of people doing take outs. Will defo be going out our way to drive there again soon. For £10 we got a massive tasty burger and the fries were well salted and lovely

I am going to dream about their smash burgers for the reat of my life. Typical idio7s reviewing this place on here. The food in this place is so tasty and the last two reviews are not even about the food. If you dont like sweet POTATO DONT BLOODY ORDER IT. Why are you leaving a review because your kid couldnt use their toilet. Human garbage trying to ruin a place known for its amazing food.

Wow what a gem, we had been to Alton towers for the day.
I googled best burgers near me and decided to try it. Well it didn’t disappoint the food was amazing the portion size is massive (I had to take mine away). The staff were attentive and food came quickly. We had two children with us they asked if we needed a bigger table, and asked if we would like the music changing due to genre not being for little ears.
Most impressed if we are down that way we will definitely try again just wish there was something as good closer.

Went in on the intention of three of us to eat my 6 year old daughter wanted the toilet they had no toilets for her went next door in the shop also no toilets.
Surly they have staff toilets. Their loss as we will never go there especially if they won't allow a child to use their toilet.

Just had our first meal from Smash on Trent after a family member said it was lovely food. Looking at the menu, it was very very pricey, £9 for a burger, we decided to give it a go and treat ourselves. It arrived in an ok time frame for being a Sunday night and it was all relatively hot, my sundae was still in fresh condition. We were however disappointed when we opened the boxes, the burger was definitely not worth £9 and was no bigger than a maccies cheese burger. The loaded fries were just frozen chips. The sweet potatoes though, oh my gosh, burnt to a crisp, they were utterly disgusting and inedible, even the dog turned his nose up at them. In our opinion, Smash On Trent is definitely not worth the price they charge and we will definitely NOT be trying them again, complete rip off
