I visited Smiles Dental, Bath Avenue, Dublin, with a simple issue. I needed two replacement nylon retention inserts for a lower dental prosthesis. The dentist insisted on a dental X-Ray, which was totally unnecessary. He then fitted the inserts, and charged me €400. This is blatant price gouging. My dentist in France replaces these for me regularly free of charge.

Had an amazing experience at Smiles Dental! The whole team was incredibly friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and the care I received was top-notch.

Smiles Dunlaoighre should be avoided at all costs. Dreadful customer care ! And even worse dental work !

Had a check up at Smile Kings Lynn yesterday it was one of the best ones I have ever had, Peter and his assistant Michelle were brilliant and acted very well together as a team. They were very thorough and explained what was happening very well, I would definitely want them as my dentist in the future.

I had two visits with Dr Maria-Georgiana Balasescu in Smiles in Swords for root canal treatment and before I decided to get it done I explained to Maria that I was very nervous .she totally put me at ease and explained the whole process before she went ahead ,also as she was doing the treatment she constantly checked to see if I was okay ,I would highly recommend Maria if you are a nervous patient.she also phoned me after the treatment to see how I was .If I ever need more dentistry work done I would go back to Maria

I had a dental emergency recently a front crown tooth came out.not a straight forward glue back in Unfortunately. The staff at Smiles did everything they could to fit me in to their very busy schedule and got my problem sorted with in a couple of days. The treatment I got from all the staff was kindness polite and efficient. I could only rate a five star I would have given them ten at the very least.

When is went last year a check up was £70 or so and included a check and a scale and polish. The company has changed ownership and now a check up is £60 and is literally a dentist looking at your teeth and doing a gum test. Thats it!! Any scale and polish is done by a hygienist now who you pay extra to see. So cannot say I will be going back.

Staff are lovely, really helpful and welcoming

I have been attending smiles dental clinic for about 8 years now, my dentist Dr Meena Durai is very talented very compassionate and very caring she is a very good dentist and i would really recommend her!! The receptionists are also great!

From the moment you walk in the door, greeted by the most friendliest and helpful reception team to the dental chair -
Dr. Mohammed is fantastic! Very professional, patient and talented at what he does.
I was extremely nervous going in for my (3rd filling) and he re-assured me, calmed me down and was very patient throughout the whole procedure when I felt like I needed a quick break.
Having personally had previous (horrendous experience in another practice) I felt so at ease here and Dr. Mohammed did a superb job on my teeth! The practice is also spotless!
Very pleased overall. Highly recommend and I will definitely be keeping myself on the patient list! 10/10!!! :-)

I cannot praise this dentist surgery enough. They have been very supportive and the work they have completed on my teeth shows just how well they do their jobs. An amazing service with a very supportive and compassionate approach to their work. Would highly recommend.

I've had a number of appointments and services, now, over the years and have been extremely happy with each. They were recommended to me by my neighbour and I'm so pleased I switched to them.
Wonderful, professional service; relaxed, supportive environment; brilliant stuff.

Beware!!! These people are dishonest. They are doing back billing which is against the law. They are a in network provider for my insurance but billed over $1500 more than what my copay was. They tried refunding 900 of the 1500. Quality of work is poor. I have turned them in to SC dept of insurance and care credit. Beware!!!!!

Not happy at all with the service I received yesterday in the Blanchardstown clinic. My usual dentist is on maternity leave so yesterday I seen dentist Arkan. I had booked an exam and clean. He took only 10 minutes in total to do both. He didn't ask me one single question except do you smoke. At the end of the clean he told me I need a filling . The helper said sit down and he will be over in a minute. He never even came over just got the receptionist to hand me a receipt and a page saying the filling would be €165. Overall the service was terrible and felt rushed. He didn't explain anything at all about the filling I require, didn't ask if I had any questions. For the same price my usual dentist is way more thorough and does a way better clean, she also usually gives me an x-ray on my teeth. For the same price he rushed me in and out in only 10 minutes and the clean he did is nowhere near as good as my usual

I had an appointment to see the dentist on a Saturday 04April, as i suspected I had cracked my tooth. I was examined in less than 10minutes and was scheduled for 3 filings and a clean/scale. I had to request for an xray due to the sensitivity on the tooth which the dentist did within the 10minutes timeframe. I called the practise and rescheduled my appointment to see a dentist with more experience due to an issue with a previous filing and nerve damage, years ago. I was told I might have a consultation with the new dentist and was scheduled to see the dentist for my filing and clean, or so I though. I was sat on the dentist chair and Dr. A ( I'm being nicer than the treatment I got today , I won't post full name) proceeded to deliver a 5minute berating to me. Stating how things are not done that way, that I can't just change clinicians, that it’s not allowed and that he won’t be doing the filing today and would only do a clean/scaling for me. I tried to explain that time was taken off my job to attend this appointment and he won't back down with his letting me know I should not have booked another clinician. I proceeded to the reception as I could not proceed with this dentist he seemed more angry that I changed clinician and needed to tell me over and over again. I spoke with the lady at the reception and he proceeded to follow me there she even asked him if he could do the consultation and filing and he said I would have to come back another time for that. He kept on talking about my changing clinicians at the reception, I had to let him know, he had been talking about the same issue, since I got to see him and I would like to get a word in. I explained to the lady in reception how unhappy I was, as this was time taken off work and I asked for my deposit payment and for his name and left and I will never be using any of Smiles Dental services again. A sham!! treatment to a patient and very shameful for a practice to have someone untrained, with no customer facing approach to a patient.

I be been with them 2 years as near me and convenient.

Today Spencer ( dental surgeon) and Tilly ( nurse) replaced my inlay .

So precise, and painless ( only 2 seconds as not worth local anaesthetic.. I m o… was offered tho)

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL PRACTICE. friend of mine came in for treatment for a tooth ache and he was given a filling. a few days after the filling he was still in pain and the filling was coming off. we tried to ask for another appointment but he cant be seen ASAP, which is very bad cause he was suffering from alot of pain.

This is one of the best dentists. I've been to many leaving and terrified to go back but I've returned to Smiles. All their dentists are amazing, they do go above and beyond, they keep their skills updated to provide an amazing service. They are calm and do not judge, they won't poke and prod unnecessarily. They will make you trust dentists again, it's like they want you to love your teeth and to smile with confidence. Great with kids too. Also if you tell them you are in pain, they actually look for the cause even if not clear which is essential when dealing with kids who can only explain they have pain in mouth near tooth.
