Food was very nice. My daughter loved her fajitas. I enjoyed couple of cocktails. The atmosphere was lovely. Definitely will be back

Meal was very good and despite another customer causing a fracas and taking up many servers time,experience was,as usual excellentservers and staff very polite and apologetic for waiting time due to the family across the restaurant....our server was Joe,and he was so patient,pleasant and efficient,that we couldn't give him enough praise......we have now been there 4 or 5 times,and see no reason for stopping anytime soon or in the distant future

Oh my goodness, visited smith and western Lingfield yesterday for our first time.
Absolutely blooming amazing, it's been a long long time since I've enjoyed a meal out and thought it was worth every penny.
Scott was welcoming and a great host, the restaurant itself was worth going to just for the 'vibe' but the food was incredible.
We are going to travel for 2 hours in a few weeks just to go back and take my other son for dinner.

Our dining experience at Smith & Western Chichester was highly disappointing. Despite our anticipation, we were left waiting for over 1.20 hours before our food finally arrived. My partner ordered his favourite, a full rack of ribs, while I opted for the so-called signature dish, the "Famous Chicken Melt."

To our dismay, the presentation of both dishes was far from satisfactory. The Famous Chicken Melt consisted of a meagrely, just cooked piece of chicken accompanied by a single lettuce leaf and what seemed to be a microwaved potato—hardly appetising for a dish claiming fame. Similarly, the full rack of ribs bore no resemblance to the enticing image portrayed on the menu. Instead, we were served with small, pallid ribs that appeared boiled, with a scanty drizzle of sauce on top.

Our disappointment only escalated when we discovered that the corn on the cob accompanying our meals was served cold. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, the replacement also arrived cold, indicating a systemic issue in the kitchen.

We expressed our dissatisfaction to the staff, who, though apologetic, and obviously not their fault, offered no tangible solution. We left half of our meals uneaten, feeling utterly let down by what was supposed to be a memorable dining experience. It was evident that they were overwhelmed, with numerous other diners voicing similar complaints. The kitchen, if there was even a chef present, seemed ill-equipped to handle the demand, leaving customers like us thoroughly dissatisfied.

Overall, our experience at was marred by long wait times, subpar food quality, and inadequate service.

Travelled to the Addlestone branch for fantastic birthday meal for my family. It was both clean and friendly and the decor was fantastic, created a real atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

What a great place to stay, Tunbridge Wells Hotel.
Fantastic heavily themed American Western hotel, incredible interesting stay, the staff were all fantastic and nice to see them dressed in themed outfit as well. We ate in the restaurant every night, the menu caters nicely for meat eaters as well as vegetarian, vegan options.
Our server who looked after us was Sylwia and she was really lovely and chatty and made us feel very welcome. Although we are not local to Tonbridge Wells, this Hotel and staff were so nice that we will definitely make a return visit.

5 stars The decor and booth we sat in . Loveee decor so authentic and improves experience greatly
0 star for not being made to feel welcome but an inconvenience on arrival . Not being acknowledged on arrival full stop

2 stars for nachos platter . (Reason we went in first place ) we had this at the old smith and western Horsham which was 5 stars and more .
This one is now tiny . Very little chilli and squirty cheese !!! Only cheap nachos use squirty cream . Ruins the overall flavour . Which is a dire shame .

Honestly incredible. We cane this evening to celebrate our sons 6th birthday. We were greeted by Luke then seated and served by Philip. Luke was amazing and so was Philip. Philip greeted our son with heartfelt happy birthdays and took a real interest in his day! Nothing was to much trouble for him. He really made the visit magical. My son is officially his number one fan, and he cnt wait to come back and visit 'the real cowboy philip' again. When we asked to see the manager we were greeted by Luke again, I felt he really listened to us and took our compliments on board. It was our first visit to a smith & Western and we definitely be back. We were made to feel so welcome start to finish. The food was incredible a real hats off to the chefs it was delicious. Thank you to Luke and Philip for making the evening so special for our son, we appreciate the effort and so does he. Definitely a birthday for him to remember. Thank you so much, never loose that spark you are truly a credit to the hospitality industry xx

Went to the Tunbridge wells S&W. We go quite a lot as we always enjoy our food and drinks there. Service was good, could have been quicker. And I had one complaint about a price of chicken which was tough/ texture was weird. Said and they instantly replaced with a lovely piece so very happy :) will definitely go back as I never have an issue usually and when I did, they instantly rectified it.

Now that my mother’s house in Tunbridge Wells has been sold, staying there is no longer an option when visiting her in the residential home she’s now in. I therefore had to look for a B&B other than Travelodge - what a nightmare THAT was.
I had seen Smith and Western when I went shopping at Sainsbury’s and thought I would give it a go. It was the best decision I made!!!
Upon arrival I parked in their private, free car park and then received a warm welcome from Dan who booked me in and showed me to my room - he was very courteous, helpful and attentive throughout my whole stay!
The room was AMAZING; great themed decor with a wonderful shower room en-suite. In the room was a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee, tea and chocolate pods. There is free WiFi - a definite bonus these days. In the shower room there are wash and shower products provided - the towels are changed each day if used. In the wardrobe was an iron and ironing board and in one of the drawers was a hair dryer - all essential mod-cons!!! There was also a very comfortable chair and foot stool for chilling out in.
Even though there was music playing downstairs in the bar and restaurant, the rooms upstairs are pretty much soundproofed and getting to sleep on the first night in a very comfortable bed was no problem at all. I’m 6’ 2” and fitted the bed easily!!!
The breakfast choice - themed again - is HUGE and if you want to go the whole hog you could have a meal that would last you all day - pancakes, cooked breakfast and even, I believe, steak! I chose just scrambled egg with crispy bacon on toast, beautifully cooked with some coffee….. and served by Dan 😊.
I had a 3 night stay at S&W; I got 3 great night’s sleep and 3 excellent breakfasts.
I’ll be visiting my Mum every 3 - 4 weeks travelling up from Devon and can guarantee I will be going to S&W EVERY time.

Awful treatment of minimum wage staff at the Horsham branch. We used to eat here regularly and thought it was a reasonable place to go supporting a local business. That was until my teenager got a job there and I realised how they treat their young workers. Minimum wage, no tips paid on card we’re ever received. They must go straight in the managers pocket. Making teenagers hand around past midnight for a few pounds cash tips, again most pocketed by the managers. I won’t be returning for this reason.

Went to Smith western this afternoon, with my family.

What a bad experience we had , we sat down and had to wait 20mins for them to take the drinks order, then another 20mins for our drinks to come to table. When our starters Come out they only brought out 5 not 6 and the 6th person had to wait about 10mins and we had finished our starts by then. When it came to the mains the ribs you had a job to cut them so we had to sent both lots back. The service was awful we booked for 2.45pm when they were quite as we are a large number. I did also request the wagon on booking and we got a table the wagon was empty gone 5.30pm.

In the end we went to get our deserts at the bar as the table service was so slow

Over all my bill came to under £400 for 6 people. I'm so upset as it was ment to be an enjoyable memorable evening.

Recently stayed at the Tunbridge Wells Smith & Western with my family, superb rooms, excellent evening meal and the breakfast was really nice, great customer service. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Ate at Tilgate Park Crawley. Food OK but a bit pricey but server Philip was excellent. Very energetic and engaged with the children and displayed patience and good humour. Well done that man. A credit to the company.

High recommend NOT TO go to this restaurant..

Such a bad experience.. started off with the car park.. had seat outside for over 20 minutes what’s not long but is when your family are inside waiting for me.. the car park is small for the amount people who can be dined in the restaurant plus the staff park there.. what a poor design..

Then gets better!! My wife had hair in the food ……
we got a apologetic manager but only took off the dinner that was hairy and added a pudding as the bribe.. not good enough in my books as my wife went out a main course..

My son ordered a Mississippi burger what’s pose to be burger topped with pull pork.. when it arrived .. there was about 50p worth of pulled pork.. treated like a source.. burger was dry and he said was not happy with the Hamburger he given as a pull pork burger ..

I had the chicken burger .. again very dry to the point I needed a stake Knife to cut it.. we was so hungry we just wanted food and an fun experience.. instead just got a expensive crappy meal..

Also watch it on the refills.. small glass and you ask for a refill.. waiter takes his time to get you the refill so it slows down the refills..
