Elliott and company are definitely trying to hustle you! Luckily, I am an older person who prefers phone calls and Zoom calls. The moment Elliott declined to do either by providing a generic response of "due to the staff/ me being located in different parts of the world, I try to make all of our correspondence through email. It's also better to have everything written so that nothing gets missed or mixed up during preparation of our work."

I have a offshore call center and marketing teams. We have no problem conducting calls. This was a total red flag to me that people are so hesitant to even make a phone call or a video call. Plus the cold generic email approach is kind of obsolete these days. Good thing I came here to read the reviews. Be very careful. Hashtags aren't going to grow your business.

EDIT: I cannot add screenshots of the discussion, but the discussion shows that Elliott's messages were extremely generic and suspicious which was was why I did not move forward with his product upon reading reviews.

Elliott claims I agreed to move forward, but again, if I was able to post screenshots, one would see I wrote that " I am willing to move forward. The price point is great, no doubt about that. It's odd conducting business only via email. I like phone or video chats."

After this point, I went on to ignore any responses. What caused me to leave him a 1 star was the fact that he continued to bombard me with messages not only via email, but he went on to bombard me on my Instagram DMs!

Ladies and gentlemen, be weary when conducting business with these kind of people. Too scared to make a phone call or do a video call, saying it his very self that his product's price point is too little to conduct a phone a call. No product's price point, big or small, should not be the reason to not have a human interaction. "Another reason we don't conduct a phone call is because the price point is too small to have a 15-30 min phone call, it won't be good for our business efficiency and furthermore, our price is just a one time fee (no recurring, no other fees). If you charge thousands of dollars, then yes, it makes sense to have a team to conduct a call."

With that being said, I have went on long enough and I rest my case.

Jordan's help at SocialHustlr really helped me consolidate a mess of ideas into a solid social media plan. The tips that were provided are simple, effective and make creating content easy! Not to mention 100+ hashtags I can use knowing they will help drive the right people to my business. Their service was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them myself!

I received a list of hashtags and strategy as promised, however the strategy was a good blueprint for spending substantially more time on my social media rather than less. Additionally, the hashtag list was remarkably similar to hashtags I already used all the time, with some being pluralized for variety. I informed the social hustler team that I have two distinct niche audiences, and the hashtags really overwhelmingly focused on one. It also didn’t seem to reflect any actual research into my audience, because some topics, buzzwords, and niche-specific lingo was conspicuously absent from the list. Finally, worst of all, every one of my metrics went down after using this strategy (reach, engagement, views). I even lost followers. I’m not sure I could have experienced worse results.

Elliot was absolutely amazing!! His service went beyond my expectations: he was helpful in every regard, came through on everything he said he was going to do, and followed through with me afterwards. I’m really really impressed with the standard of service and highly recommend working with him. If you look at the one-star reviews, they’re currently all from people disgruntled by cold outreach email—however, I personally am grateful for the cold outreach email I received from Elliott/SocialHustlr because it led me to discover this incredible service!

I rarely consider cold email services, but after seeing that I could receive a custom researched hashtag strategy for a one-time service fee of $75 (NOT a subscription) + the positive reviews here on Trustpilot, I decided it was worth a shot. And after receiving my action plan 3 days later, I am SUPER happy with my investment... Jordan provided 153 hashtags (33 as a bonus) unique to my business niche + target audience, clearly organized in an interactive spreadsheet that makes it super easy for me. The hashtags are grouped by size to maximize my exposure and all I have to do is select a certain number of hashtags per category (as outlined in my action plan) and then copy/paste into my Instagram post. Boom. Before I’d waste so much time guessing which hashtags made sense for my post—now I don’t have to guess or research. This is going to save me SO much time!
