Order never shipped out.
Order here for 4 units SODAQ Mbili. it never shipped out, no response on email. Beware of scam !!!

Excellent communication. Addressed special requests without any issues.

I bought the Sodaq AFF SARA-R412M u-blox edition to trial for my business. Product arrived missing the activation code and the SIM already in. Raised support ticket, dealt with efficiently and code provided. Device then wouldn't activate as described in the getting started guides. Raised another support ticket, providing logs - had an initial response promising source code to try and diagnose it myself, but nothing since. Raised another ticket to try and get attention.. but no response. Tried contacting u-blox to get firmware to at least try the latest, but they won't help, saying Sodaq should provide support. They do not.

It's been over a month now of unanswered tickets so I've given up. Perhaps their other products work as described, perhaps they're a small business overwhelmed by demand. For me, the lack of support means I won't risk my business with them.

GSM modules didn't work out of the box. With prompt assistance from the support team we were able to determine that the manufacturer used non-default settings for this batch. They provided step-by-step instructions for applying default settings. Great satisfaction with fast support.

Support was great and helped a lot to make that device work, but this is definitely nothing for a beginner. You have to generate the key and App EUI yourself and need to have experience with the Ardunio IDE programming software. Dev EUI can only be found in the serial readout of the tracker. You also need some understanding on how LoRa works and on optimizing the settings. Additionally it can't be wrong to exchange the built in LoRa antenna with a better one to get a link at a higher distance. If you get it to work, you end up with a robust and good device with a high GPS precision and solar charging works fine, even in November in Germany. Support gets 5 stars, but as it is a 200€ tracker I would have expected it to be far friendlier for a beginner and a plug and play device, which it isn't. If you have experience on how to set up LoRa devices and how to program them, I recommend this tracker, but if you are a beginner take a look at Dragino !

There was a slight delay in delivery but the produce itself (SODAQ One V3) is absolutely fantastic.

Good support thru sales process at first.
Shipping international was a waste as air freight to Canada only delivered to Toronto - then by land so it took an extra 9 days.
No information with devices delivered (Cattle Tracker) (EUI etc) and no instructions as to how to access via Bluetooth. Forced to open them up and figure out how to program in Arduinio IDE.
Not a product that is ready for general use.
Now to figure out if they are suitable for the application

You would have gotten 5 stars of it weren't so expensive. Otherwise a very polished and user friendly product. Definitely would recommend!

The Cow Tracker is an intersting product. Hower the technical details of how it is to be operated are lacking pn the sales flysheet.... and I am not the first to make this point in the Forum.

I can understand why SODAQ wishes to deal with technical queres on the forum, and not individually (avoiding RTFM) but at the moment I await a reply to my technical query.

We had difficulty sending SODAQ Visa payments and they acknowledged the problem was at their end. The shipment was delayed by 10 days stuck in London UK finally got released and it ended up in Vancouver BC where it should have ended up in the Toronto area this delayed shipment even further.
As a first time customer this was not a good experience.
