I recently bought 2 new sofas from sofology Gateshead, ( the last four sofas I have bought have all been fromthat store )they arrived in perfect condition and we use them daily
However we decided to buy another identical sofa for another room
We wanted a Gracie 2 seater leather sofa with electric recliners, I paid immediately signed the iPad confirming what I ordered and went home and waited for its arrival,
However when it arrived it was a manual recliner instead so I refused to accept delivery
Now sofologys customer service department are telling me that although they accept I ordered an electric sofa, I signed the order and should have noticed the mistake and want to charge me 25% more to order the correct one
I’m absolutely disgusted

My wife and I were in the market for a new suite. We tried all the major furniture stores and either found nothing remotely worth the price, or that didn't resemble a suite from the 50's. We were also put off by some aggressive sales people, who would pounce on you from every angle, despite repeatedly stating we wanted to look around at what was on offer, first.
We visited Sofology last on our trip and were delighted with both the quality of sofa and suite on offer as well as the no hassle approach from the team members there.
We were welcomed by a brilliant sales representative (Sofologist) called Sheena, who wasn't pushy or aggressive and immediately put us at ease. Sheena was super helpful and courteous and a credit to the store, taking her time to help and showing patience whilst we made our decision.
Whilst we only went in to take a look, we ended up ordering a new sofa and chair, such was the quality of service.
If you want a hassle free experience in a store with high quality materials and excellent Sales representatives, then Sofology is the store for you.

I had the fantastic fortune to be helped by Jayne in the Gateshead Sofology on Thursday 12th February (in the evening) and then again on Saturday 14th February. She was so personable and helped shape what was a very niche request for support (due to really strict room dimensions i was working with). Jayne was really knowledgeable, patient and engaging with her felt like being supported by a member of my family. I ended up return to the store with my fiance to show her what I thought might be an option for us and Jayne remembered my name and what it was I was looking for. We ended up spending a couple of thousand pound on a wonderful new sofa and it 100% would not have happened without Jayne's approach to sales and general character. I'll 100% be back to Sofology just because of my experience with this wonderful woman. Thanks Jayne!
