Poor after sales service to say the least. Sofa ordered allure range in store, not a problem. Paid for a smart console, corner unit, recliner seats, lumbar support and heated seats, no expense spared.
Sofa delivered pre Christmas on 22nd December. However we received a standard console not the smart console. Went to store to show photos and report, no problem there. With Christmas told to leave it with them and they would be in touch to sort it out. After Christmas received 2 phone calls to confirm they had incorrectly advised us and the smart console wasn't compatible. As there was no other option we agreed on a refund amount. Still weeks later I am having to make multiple phone calls to sofology customer service, they have informed me they are waiting on the store to accept liability and agree to this before they can process anything.
At this point the service from in store has gone from great to subpar and it truly could have been avoided. Contemplating asking for the sofa to be taken back as mis-sold from our order confirmation and what they supplied as they cant even go ahead with a simple solution

When looking round the assistants were visible but left us to look after asking if we needed help. However when we wanted information the assistant,Martin we spoke to was very helpful. When we decided we were going to buy the settee the same assistant was very helpful, friendly and polite and completed all the paperwork. He was knowledgeable about the product.

The staff, particularly Gigi and Haleema, were very helpful and polite. They were on-hand if needed, to provide useful information, but allowed me to browse at my own leisure without feeling pressured. Would recommend as a retail experience.

I have yet to receive the sofa, however the staff in store were very helpful during the purchasing stage - we had gone a little unprepared and needed to check measurements but the colleague we spoke to gave us all the information we needed, no pressure, and sent a link with the sofa we had chosen. Completed the order when we got home which was approved within minutes despite being a Sunday and pleased with the suggested delivery window of approx 7 weeks. Overall, very smooth, efficient and easy process.

I visited the Birstall store and was greeted by a lovely young man called Ade. He was very helpful, patient, knowledgeable and funny. It was a pleasure dealing with Ade. On our second visit to the store Ade recognised us straight away and approached us with a big smile and friendly approach. He provided us with all of the information we needed and completed the sale for us. Having staff like this is imperative. He is a real asset to the company. Based on my experience with Ade I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
The sofas were very nice too of course.
