Used SonaSIM eSIM on a recent trip to Japan and it made things way easier than I expected. Landing in Tokyo, I was connected within minutes — no queues, no hunting for SIM cards, just scanned the QR code and it worked.

Coverage was solid pretty much everywhere I went — Tokyo, Kyoto, even on trains between cities. Speeds were fast enough for Google Maps, translations, booking trains, and streaming without any issues.

One thing I really liked was not having to think about it. No random dropouts, no surprise charges, it just worked in the background the whole trip.

If you’re heading to Japan and don’t want the hassle of physical SIMs or crazy roaming fees, SonaSIM is a really easy option.
