Set your expectations low. I do not recommend.
Disappointed with this service. I chose my artist because he had great preview songs. I could tell he put effort into making my song's lyrics, but the rest of it really sounded like he made it on his cell phone. I reached out to customer support about my disappointment. They were understanding and worked with me to request my edits. The music sounds better in the edits, but the rest of the song that wasn't edited wasn't changed at all. It still makes me cringe when I hear it, but it may not be a total waste. If she doesn't like it once I share it, it will hopefully be a funny memory.

I received my song and absolutely hated it, I have been telling songfinch the same thing and they will not resolve the issues, they are willing to change a few lyrics but most not all of the lyrics are ok (not great) the beat and tone of the song is just straight embarrassing. I’m lucky to get a response about every other day from someone different asking the same questions that Ive answered already, at one point I asked if my song was even being revised and was told no after I was told that it would be. My anniversary is in 5 days and this was supposed to be a big surprise and it’s devastating.
***UPDATE***
Brad Dollar the Customer service director stepped in and had my song remade with an artist he recommended. It turned out great and was delivered before my anniversary! As a business owner I understand things sometimes don’t go as planned but Brad showed they do care about the customers experience. I will use songfinch again in the future.

Songfinch delivers exactly what they promise, I'm completely bowled over by the song that I commissioned. My artist was Nick Sanza, he wrote the most amazing song that conveyed EXACTLY the emotions I wanted to say in song. He interpreted what I wrote in a way that I could never of imagined. His performance was perfect, so talented, I can only say the most heartfelt thank you to him.... You are so cool brother !!!! Your song will be with us forever.
You simply cannot match the value for money that Songfinch offers. A great idea...... what a unique thing !! The song was written and recorded in the promised 7 days.

Some of the best money I ever spent
This was some of the best money I ever spent considering how amazing it made my family feel. Looking at some of these reviews all I can think is these people didn’t read any of the very clear communication this company provides or just don’t know how to use the internet properly. This isn’t Amazon and it’s important not to expect that. Their customer service, especially Emily, treated me with such kindness and respect during a very difficult time. If you’re hesitating at all, please don’t. Because even if you have an issue, they will take care of you. I LOVE SONGFINCH!

SUCH A CREATIVE and heartfelt way to celebrate a wedding! My artist was KaiX and I’m not sure if he was aware it was just for a wedding. HE WROTE AN ENTIRE CATCHY SONG that sounds like it could be played on the radio. My wife still plays it over and over (wedding was last week). I’m so grateful I came across the site and gave it a chance! I’m grateful you chose the artist you did. THESE GUYS ARE EXPERTS 10/10 !

Delayed responses to support tickets and not answering my actual questions.
Then created a song that had no lyrics in it and I can't get anyone to apply their minds to my support tickets. The 48hr period to edit the song is now over but I can't edit a song if there are no lyrics to listen to.

Ordered a song for my fiancé with Drew Tabor and it was amazing. Definitely captured the feel I wanted and included key events that were well picked out. I love it & my fiancé loves it even more. Drew has an amazing voice , would definitely recommend. Had to opt for a slight lyric change (literally one word) just to make it perfect and that was done quickly and sounded great and definitely made it 10/10. Thank you drew!

Make sure you check your spam because they advertise songwriters and they don’t have them sometimes so you might be expecting your song and instead you’re gonna get an email saying this songwriter you picked is not available and I will put you back a week from the time that you wanted to receive this song. So what they do? They send you a generic email saying hey we are trying to contact you because the artist you pick is not available sorry. Sarah accountability for the outcome of the lack of customer service. Worst customer service.

Occasionally our artists do encounter emergencies or need to deal with things in their personal lives which renders them unable to take on or finish song orders. They hate to have to send us that message as much as we hate to send it to you, but please note that any time an artist has to drop an order, we do our absolute best to notify you right away, suggest some pro artists that we know will get you a fabulous song in a short amount of time to hopefully make your original delivery date or get your song to you as soon as possible, and make sure you still leave with a great custom gift to treasure.
Once we get a reply to that email with how you want to proceed, our customer success representatives are ready and able to give you the best service possible so you can have a great experience:) If you have an order with us that needs a new artist assigned, please reply to that email with a new artist you'd like and we can get it re-assinged and written for you right away! If your order did get delayed and you're no longer interested in having it fulfilled, just go ahead and reply letting us know you want it refunded and we'll get back to you with that confirmation as soon as we can:) Have a great rest of your day!
They tried
They tried. Very cheesy song. Was really looking forward to the final product as I paid $200 for this. Won't state the performers name as to lose him money from their platform but he basically just half assed sang the story I wrote. No creativity, I could have done this and sounded better for much less and I dont even sing. Was really excited to show this to my girl and her exact words after hearing it were "this is so stupid." Great idea in theory and hopefully other artists do a better job but for $200 you could do way better for a gift or surprise.

Other than when I proposed, this was probably the best thing my wife has ever received from me.
SHE WAS FLOORED with the song! Caught her completely by surprise.
This is truly the best money I've ever spent on a gift. And it wasn't even expensive!
The song was perfect. The artist, Dizzy Angeles, really took my notes and put together something wonderful.

These can’t all be accurate. The song they did for me missed the mark and they want to charge me $60 to do it right. The artist did NOT follow what I gave them even though I wrote a lot. Customer service is not helpful. I consider this fraud at this point.

Terrible, boring, irrelevant, repetitive
I wrote so much amazing information about my husband that they could have used. They chose the least important details, the song sounded like we almost broke up and got back together (not true), so boring and repetitive. Clearly they just take 2 lines to input 1 or 2 things to make it “custom” and put no effort into making it a good song. When I said I didn’t like it, it was like they wanted me to rewrite 4 sentences, I sent info to replace the terrible chorus but I’m not a song writer! Total waste of my time (and money) but more importantly my time!!!
