Thomas Miller? PHENOMENAL. the service? PHENOMENAL!

Thomas Miller was an absolutely phenomenal person to work with. He had me set and ready to go. He provided amazing customer service and I wouldn’t go anywhere else once I need to move something else. Fantastic professionalism, customer service, and to boot the service itself was quick and easy. FANTASTIC work! Thank yall so much!

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have bene working with Henry since 2/2026 to get my car shipped in April. I was informed that I would be contacted the day before with a pickup time..Never was. I contacted them the day before my "pickup" and was told that they are working on finding a driver. Why it was done the day before and not months in advance..who knows. A driver was then found the day before the scheduled pickup, and allegedly, the truck broke down and could not come. I had a scheduled pickup originally for 4/3.. which has still not happened at it is 4/7. They have taken money out of my account. Henry is refusing to release my funds. He is not taking accountability for not starting this process when I originally called in February, and keeps giving me the run around. Telling me lies about he called and left a voicemail about a driver being able to come that day, when the vm stated nothing of such. When the vm was sent back to him, he had no words. I originally told them I wanted a closed carrier due to my vehicle being new. He continues to try giving me an open carrier, as that is what appears to be available at the time. If it is not him trying to get my to take an open carrier for a 2026 vehicle, it is him telling me how the drivers he has found do not have proper insurance or he doesn't want them to take my vehicle due to them being unreliable or being unable to guarantee that they will get my vehicle to me without damage or poor communication.On top of the stress of moving long distance, this situation has cause me and my family a huge inconvenience and is still not resolved. I do not have my money back they have taken from me ($1300) and do not have my vehicle or any update on a reliable driver. I have no other choice but to seek legal action regarding this matter. This company was recommended to me, and with all of the scams, I thought they could be trusted. This has been one absolute nightmare. 0/10...I would not recommend Sonic Auto Transportation at ALL!!!!!

However, within the vehicle shipping industry, carriers typically confirm and commit to loads closer to the actual pickup date based on route availability, scheduling, and market demand. While we continuously monitor and post orders to secure a driver, assignments often happen shortly before dispatch.

We also want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused when the initially assigned carrier canceled due to an unexpected issue. While such situations are outside of our direct control, we understand how disruptive this was and want to assure you that we have been actively working to find a suitable replacement driver to complete your car transport service as soon as possible.

Regarding your preference for an enclosed carrier, we completely respect your request, especially for a newer vehicle. Availability for enclosed auto shipping can sometimes be more limited, which may lead to delays, but we are continuing to prioritize your requirement while searching for a reliable and properly insured carrier.

We also apologize if our communication fell short at any point. Providing timely and accurate updates is essential in delivering a smooth vehicle transport service, and your concerns about this will be addressed internally.

As for the deposit, please rest assured that it remains secure and will be applied toward the carrier once your shipment is successfully assigned. We understand your concerns about your funds and want to reassure you that they are not lost.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. They never assigned a carrier, and I had to keep calling myself just to get updates. On top of that, the price kept changing from $750 to $1,000–$1,200, then $1,500, and finally $1,700. The last time, they said they would call me back, and they never did. When I canceled because of the poor communication and constant price changes, they still charged me a $200 cancellation fee. Companies should be more empathetic when it comes to people’s money, especially when no carrier was assigned and no service was completed. I would not recommend this company.

This is my second time using Sonic…

This is my second time using Sonic services. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. After reading some of the reviews I will try to explain something about the process. The Quote it’s not a definitive price. Sonic is a transportation broker and will provide a final amount once an actual driver agrees on a price. We as the customer have the last word on the deal. Yes it can be frustrating because the quotes are few/several hundred from the original quote. The reason I still deal with Sonic is more about safety, responsibility and a proven process. They have also work on my behalf to find reasonable prices. The first time I needed transportation services I received so many calls with crazy amount of dollars that was hard to understand the differences between their quotes. I also didn’t know who I was speaking with, reputation or professionalism. Again with Sonic I felt comfortable and avoided the guessing spect of the process. I recommend Sonic Auto Transportation.

Professional prompt and reliable

I had an excellent experience working with Thomas Miller. From start to finish, he was professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He kept me updated throughout the entire process and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Both of my cars were shipped across the country and arrived exactly as promised—on time and in perfect condition. There were no surprises with pricing either; everything was honored at the agreed rate, which I really appreciated. It’s not always easy to find someone reliable in this industry, but Thomas definitely delivered. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing vehicle transport and would absolutely use his services again.

WARNING: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I contracted Sonic Auto Transport to ship my 2024 Ineos Grenadier from Seattle, WA to Denison, TX after being assured they work with qualified, insured drivers. What I experienced suggests otherwise.

At delivery, my vehicle arrived with severe roof damage and a completely shattered sunroof. When the driver opened the door, glass poured into the interior. The extent and nature of the damage strongly indicate the vehicle was driven into a low-clearance structure (such as a bridge or tree), which is inexcusable during professional transport. The total damage to my vehicle is approximately $10,000.

This is a limited-production vehicle with internationally sourced parts. The sunroof alone takes weeks to replace. I have now been driving for over two months with significant damage, dealing with excessive road noise, risk of water intrusion, and disruption to my work as a real estate broker. On top of that, this incident will permanently reduce the vehicle’s value due to its CARFAX history.

Even more concerning is the lack of accountability. Despite immediate notification and repeated follow-up, this matter has remained unresolved for over 60 days. I have been forced to involve legal counsel and notify my insurance provider.

Do not rely solely on what Sonic Auto Transport tells you about their drivers. Verify the insurance coverage of the actual carrier yourself. Based on my experience, there appears to be a serious gap between what is promised and what is delivered.

I would strongly advise anyone—especially those transporting high-value vehicles—to look elsewhere.

Jayden was very helpful honest and trustworthy throughout the whole process the first driver he found was a waste of time but when I explained to him he got rught to work negotiating and found a second driver who showed up and got the work done both Jayden and Garcia were the best 100 percent guarantee service

Reliable, quick, transparent process

Had a great experience with Sonic. After a previous booking with another company got canceled, I was a bit nervous, but everything went super smoothly.

Pickup was even moved up a day, the driver (Robin) arrived quickly, even 2 days earlier than the actual schedule from West to East coast and communication was clear throughout. They provided photos before and after transport, and my car arrived safely with no issues.

Price was very reasonable too. Overall, very reliable and easy process—would definitely recommend!
