Sonim XP pro thermal is a buggy phone

Sonim XP pro thermal is a buggy phone. Camera is poor. Thermal freezes a lot as well, but the worst is: with KPN as provider the Sonim CAN NOT diplay the phone numbers of incoming calls. Everything is: unknown caller. Sonim is aware of this issue but just doesn't fix it. They've been promising an update for 6 months now. The last update is A YEAR OLD, it's basically the release firmware... That is truly horrible for such a recent phone.

The xp3 plus sucks

The xp3 plus sucks. I paid 210.00 to tmobile for it. I am so angry I am mailing the phone back to sonim. They wont know who mailed it to them. I had bought online from sonim a phone holder. It was too small. I was told to return it and I will get a 44.00 refund. I spent 10.00 to return it. I begged for a refund 5 times. I am totally ignored. I was ripped off. Do not buy Sonim products. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF! FRANCIS BLUMSCHEIN

Sonim or Sonimtech Rugged Phones and Smart Phones

Sonim or Sonimtech as they now seem to be known, definitely used to make the very best rugged phones. IP68 rated for water ingress and dust.

I had previously owned 3 models; XP3, XP3.20 and XP3340 Sentinal. Each incredibly rugged phones, which I still have and they all still work perfectly; the batteries still hold charge as they did when I used them daily. This fact alone is a testament to their robust high quality.

I cannot really judge their current models as I have not experienced them and as quality costs; they are not cheap but represent real investment in a capable phone suited for all a harsh environment can throw at it and survive the ordeal...
