Shocking qualilty - i ordered a cotton dress - 95% polyester dress arrived horrible.
I wish I had looked at reviews - what a total waste of money

This is a scam; Sophie Oxford does not exist and the products come from China. They are very poor quality; one of my 2 dresses was thinner than the thinnest of polycotton bedsheets. There appears to be no means of returning. I have been well and truly caught out and wish I had read the reviews first.

Not even worth one star. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CRIMINALS.

Absolutely appalling service!! They keep saying my order is on the way and nothing has arrived for weeks. Don’t make the same mistake as I did and steer clear of ordering anything from them!

Like others I purchased two items, and did not receive. E-mailed twice and they kept saying it was on its way. Contacted my bank and they got the refund for me. Then the items arrived, not at all as pictured. I want to send them back but no address and no returns label. I will just give the items to charity shop!! Do contact your bank and see if they can get a refund.

Just like others, just want to say don't touch this so called company with a barge pole! website appears to be UK company, but when I received a badly damaged dress and entered into a lengthy string of e mails, the only way they say they will refund is for me to send the item back to China at my expense and in view of mine and others experience I doubt whether I would ever get the refund let alone the cost of return back. I am amazed that they can continue trading with a UK e mail address, although I have tried to go on the website this morning only to get the message up 'this shop does not exist'. I guess that tells me what chance I have of getting a refund!

Waited 3 weeks for delivery. Quality absolutely dreadful, possibly useful if torn up for rags. Not fit to be sent to a Charity shop. No information available for returns. Wish I had checked Trust pilot before ordering. Lesson learnt.

Ordered two different coloured dresses. After about 2 weeks two dresses arrived the same colour. Shockingly poor quality fabrics and stitching.. I have never seen such poor quality items.
Wish I had read these reviews beforehand... do not order from this company.

Like others 3-4 weeks to arrive. poor quality and no returns form. When contacting by email they said send back to warehouse. No address given. Second email requesting address which they sent saying fill in returns form. No indication as to where to get returns form as nothing on internet. 3rd email requesting returns form which now waiting for.

Absolute scam company. Do not order their fake clothes from China under any circumstances. Item was very late and was a nylon piece of rubbish rather than a beautiful cotton dress. Very worried about having paid this scam company.

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of ordering from Sophie Oxford.
I bought a dress that took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. When it finally did, the quality was shockingly poor—nowhere near what was advertised.
Tried to return it, only to find out they’ll only accept returns to a warehouse in Asia at your own expense. That means paying international postage just to get a refund—not worth it.
Also, the website gives the impression it’s a British company. It’s not. Feels misleading and disappointing.
Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re happy to gamble on quality and lose out on returns.

A total scam.
Puchased 2 cotton dresses and received 2 cheap polyester dresses.
The delivery was nearly 3 weeks and the processor trying to attempt receive a refund.

Do not purchase from this company it is false advertising and a Scam. I ordered a dress which was in the sale from £80 to £39 upon payment Idid not receive a confirmation with order number. I sent an email complaining and they sent an order number to track the dress. I tried to track the dress but it would not accept the tracking number. I sent numerous emails complaining and asked for a refund and the only replies I got were telling me to return the item for a refund. How could I return the dress if I never received it. Avoid at all costs

Please be on your Guard when purchasing anything from this website.

I bought a dress costing £35 with free delivery.
A red flag popped into my head when it was taking ages to arrive.
It arrived over 2 weeks later.

The quality of the dress was way below what I expected and therefore emailed Sophie to request a return label.

That’s when everything fell into place.
Giving the impression this company was based in London and the use of Oxford in the website name, I was dumbfounded to get a return address in China.

Along with the returns address was an offer to receive just 20% of the garment value before returning dress to China.
(£7.00)

I thought that was strange until I went to the Post Office to find that it was going to cost £20 (tracking)to return it.

I feel so stupid I fell for this, and although I know I am going to be well out of pocket, I wanted to warn others to be aware of what buying from this website will end up costing if you want to return the item, and the hoops and loops required in the process.

This company and those like it should not be allowed to trade in the UK. Advertise on Facebook etc..

I've just been offered by email the address to return items.. which will cost £20/30 and then they may refund me if they are in perfect condition.

Or 20% refund to keep it all.

I am so cross with myself for falling for this and buying from a Chinese offshore company with no integrity, blatantly lying about the material the dresses are made from.

When I requested a return for a dress which was too small they asked for £14 for postage on a different size & keep original 🤷

The dresses I ordered were NOT cotton as advertised but a very cheap and nasty polyester, unwearable.

After waiting a month for a dress I bought for a holiday I have come back from, I still don’t have my dress. Had an email saying sorry but still no dress. If I could give no stars I would.
I have asked for my money back but no response

Ordered dress on 18 August & still not delivered. Don’t trust this company.

I followed instructions relating to size and both dress and shoes were too big. I have tried to return them with zero cooperation from Sophie Oxford. The “cotton” dress was wholly synthetic.
