The process was very professional and easily executed. My only problem was there was no place to take the interview, since libraries are closed due to COVID-19, as are schools. So, I had to take it at my father's workplace, which was extremely noisy and distracting. However, that is no fault of this interview.
SortSmart interview was exceptionally…
SortSmart interview was exceptionally better than other traditional admission screening tools such as standardized tests, in-person interviews, personal statements. I enjoyed the variation between written and audio-video responses. Just like anything, everything has room for improvement and growth and that is why I did not give it 5/5. I found that more time could have been allocated for certain questions and that perhaps there could also be an option for questions to be read to us for more of an in-person interview feeling.

I believe SortSmart is helpful and efficient compared to other interview formats. I felt less nervous talking to a computer than I did at regular interviews. However, I am not able to judge how fair it was,as I am not sure how it is grading my interview responses on the other end.

Great experience overall and very easy to navigate the interview online. It was quite similar to an in person interview. Some of the questions were quite ambiguous, but most were decent. Overall, I enjoyed it.

It took very long to move on to the next question after clicking "submit". However, the interview went well overall.
Nothing like a real interview
Even after doing the sample interview it was extremely non-intuitive that recording would start before I even had time to finish reading the question for video responses. Became extremely stressed with the format unlike if I were actually having a conversation with a real person. Not a good substitute in my opinion, would rather talk to an actual human instead of talking to a screen.
An Innovative Admissions Screening Tool
I think this is an creative tool that gives students a good sense of what to expect for medical school interviews. I liked the variety of questions with strict time limits. The instructions were clear and it was easy to navigate through the interview.
A well thought out interview style
I think it was a good format for an interview. It displayed accurate questions and format of a face-to-face interview. I think it helped with gaining experience to become comfortable with medical school type questions in interviews. The website was easy to use and the instructions were very straight forward.
Great experience overall
It had great instructions and asks questions that are fair and for the most part simple to answer. It had a good format and was a easy system to use. The pages were well laid out too!

SortSmart Scholarship Interview: Great Tool
I believe the process of using the SortSmart interview software was very easy to navigate and can be useful for future medical school admissions, as well as other job opportunities. Having the availability of an online interview format is especially relevant now with the coronavirus pandemic, so this is a great resource. My only points of improvement would be that sometimes it was unclear whether it would require a video or a text response for the question. Additionally, I thought that for the video questions, it would be beneficial to have a 20 second period to read the question prior to responding, like in the text response scenarios, as I would have appreciated the time to collect my thoughts and not spend my response time doing so. Overall, I had a positive experience and I believe this is a good tool! Thank you SortSmart for this wonderful scholarship opportunity!
SortSmart interview feedback

SortSmart Scholarship Process: Could use minor improvements but great overall
I honestly thought that this system used by SortSmart for the scholarship test was enjoyable and I do believe it does do a good job of finding out if applicants have the right qualities to be a qualified physician and how accomplished they are thus far. I do believe the interview could be improved upon slightly, but it was still well made and did well in assessing me.
I think the platform worked well
I think the platform worked well. I wish that some of the prompts had been more clear. I think there could be more clarity about whether the upcoming prompt would require a video response or a text reponse.

Overall the questions that were posed were appropriate. I found it strange having my answers video recorded opposed to talking to someone in person.

Utterly Reckless and Intense with a hint of Sugar.
My experience was, quite simply stated, intense. I was a bit uncomfortable with the lack of face to face communication, as well as the time constraints put on the interviewees. However, I also think that this process is ingenious and very effective in determining those who qualify for this scholarship, hence the 5 star review. Thank you SortSmart for the opportunity !!
