He helped me upgrade my system seamlessly and was very correct and fair with the exchange. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure dealing with this company and of course the brilliant James. The quality of the products are excellent and they arrived in superb condition with everything included that I needed to set it up. As for James - he is also brilliant and obviously care for his products and customers equally - nothing was too much. I dealt with them by email and also a phone call and nothing was too much trouble. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

It was time for my Beovision and beolab28 speakers to move on. Sound affair made me a good offer for the lot.
I took into account that it was a simple transaction, that they would drive 12hours to pick it up pack it etc. That they would service it, take good quality photos, take time to display it sell it with a warranty, Pack it and delivery to the new owners and make a fair profit on it. It was a good offer and i was very happy to accept it.
On the day James arrived on time, was very friendly and cheerful. Was happy with the kit and quickly paid the full amount into my bank account.
Very happy, everything went smoothly and will deal with them again.

Honestly brilliant - AI suggested this company might be interested in my old B&O cd player that had been under a blanket in my garage for about 5yrs! Finally, we’re doing a big reorg and decided to “rehome” it. I contacted them with they requested photos, the response was quick, clear and positive. James sent me a generous valuation, i accepted - he drove to collect the equipment a few days later and made a bank transfer to me for the agreed amount. I ordered a BeoCenter 2300 and when it arrived in Perth, Western Australia, I sent the following email to Sound Affair-
'I received the BeoCenter 2300 today and I wanted to thank you for the excellent customer service, the way it was packed and the DIN to RCA connector.

I wanted to replace a defunct BeoSound 3000 with a secondhand one which could connect to my B&O speakers. Lots are offered for sale, but I opted to pay a bit more in order to have the 1-year warranty provided by Sound-Affair. This turned out to be a good decision.
The BeoSound that they supplied (actually a 3200 not 3000) malfunctioned - the sliding doors didn't work properly. James advised helpfully over the phone how I might fix this, but without success, so I re-packed the BeoSound, and James arranged for it to be collected from my home and couriered back to their workshop.
After some delay over New Year, the machine was eventually returned to me, and so far it all works perfectly. Everything done under warranty was free of charge.
So although my dealing with Sound-Affair was a bit long-drawn-out, it was very satisfactory in the end. James is friendly, conscientious, patient and knowledgeable, and he gave me some useful technical guidance. Sound-Affair are not cheap but in my experience they are good.

Customer service at it's best. James was very helpful and dealt with an issue in a prompt and professional manner. The 12 month warranty is definitely why I bought from him.
I would recommend S/A to anyone looking for good quality used B&O equipment.

Really pleased with the service and advice. I have an old B&O Beocentre from 1986 and needed to get a new stylus. I was really worried where and how to get a replacement. I phoned them and their advice was really good and had a new cartridge delivered within 7 days and its fitted and sounds brilliant - really pleased with their service and can thoroughly recommend them.
