Soundstep musical school total time waster
This is seriously waste if time. Dont go to this school. Poor trianer and poor methodology of teaching. Plus thw director will charge full fee from me even my son didn’t attend all classes. The management is worst.

I am sorry to hear of your experience, however as discussed on phone, you attended a free trial and then signed up for lessons but never attended or sent any communication at the time about attendance issues or issues with the classes. As you menitoned on the phone about your complaint you mentioned "Rock Steady" so i am not sure if you are getting us confused with another school as if the trial session you attended with the teacher was poor then i am not sure why you would have signed up to regular classes?
Unfortunately when you signed up we booked the centre and teacher for your childs lessons and as mentioned in signing up we are not a pay as you go service and book lessons on a termly basis to avoid disruption to our students so we do ask parents to commit termly to lessons and so when a student signs up after a free trial we do expect parents to pay the fee or at least communicate at the time if there is any sudden issue which did not happen in this case as mentioned by the forwarded emails sent to you to show this.
We fully support our teachers and receive many kind words about them as well as seeing many success stories of our students progressing from beginner to Graded qualificaiton levels however if your trial session was not up to standard we do apologise and will certianly investigate this and should this have been the case we do wish you would have contacted us at the time to arrange another trial rather than sign up to lessons you may not have been commited too. We will always do our best to help reslove any situaiton but we do need communication at the time in order to best assist and resolve any situaiton fairly.
Great teacher
Class is well prepared, children get to know well the music instrument.

Amazing way of teaching
Soundsteps has revolutionized the way music is taught. When I was small, learning the essentials of music theory, including tonality, tempo, rhythm, etc. was extremely boring. Soundsteps has their own teaching materials and does include a lot of games through learning which makes the class fun. The teacher Colleen is really empathetic and my daughter does not want to go home after one hour of practice.

Not professional at all
Not worth the money and had big issues with them. It’s all about money and don’t care about the pupils. Don’t go there. The boss is not a nice person, all about making money.

Our focus is always on the children and ensuring every child gets the most out of the classes. We always ensure children have a free trial before joining to let them experience our classes before committing but we do have to ask all parents once joining that they commit for the term of lessons as the school runs on a termly basis and also makes commitment to its teachers, centres and other students and it would be unfair to cancel others classes mid term. This policy benefits all in the school and allows us to run quality classes at affordable rates. Its always disappointing to hear a child wants to stop lessons and we do understand the frustration of paying for lessons should you wish to stop however we do look to give as many options to help finish the term and reminders are always sent prior to cancelation deadlines at the end of term. However we will continue to review this policy and should an alternative option become available we will certainly introduce this.
Waste of time and money
Not worth it. Waste of time and money. The trainer doesn't give any attention to the students. My child was just learning to write and we spoke to the trainer about it and they were not interested in making sure the child understands. When spoke to the trainer about this, they suggested that as parent we should also observe how we are teaching and then revise with the kids. We were also black mailed by the management to pay the whole term fees even when we didn't like their classes and my child was refusing to go due to all these

I am sorry you feel this way and did not have a good experience, Our teachers are fully trainned in delivering the Soundsteps method but i am sorry to hear you feel they have not delivered the lessons to your child. All teachers are reviewed regularly however any complaint to the office is immediately checked at the following lessons. We suggest at the trial that all children joining our classes are aged 5 or above as we do teach them to read and write and teachers will support children in lessons but we can also suggest alternatives to help in lessons once a concern is received. We always encourage parents to report any concerns immediately to ensure we can take quick action before children lose interest. Regarding the teacher feedback it may have been that they were refering to our student portal which is there to help student practise at home and contains videos and written notes that children can practise writing at home to help in lessons. We will certianly investigate and ensure that all teachers give the best advice and clear in that communication as it seems it may have came accross in the wrong way. Our focus is always on the children and ensuring every child gets the most out of the classes. We always ensure children have a free trial before joining to let them experience our classes before committing but we do have to ask all parents once joining that they commit for the term of lessons as the school runs on a termly basis and also makes commitment to its teachers, centres and other students and it would be unfair to cancel others classes mid term. We never operate a black mail policy but do expect parents to keep to the agreement they sign for the term of lessons and will always endavour to find suitable alternatives to finish a term should the child lose interest after a couple of lessons.
Amazing Teachers
The Teachers are very engaging and encourage my child to do their best. The lesson material is easy to follow.

Great music school for kids.
I am so happy that my kids found Soundsteps Music Class... My kids really enjoy learning the piano in a group setting. Their teacher Karishma was great, and their current teacher is good as well. Lessons are absolutely great and the school is fantastic
Lessons are great, well prepared, with many additional activities, pleasant and also challenging. Children are learning famous, classical and modern pieces. The teachers are well prepared. They have an excellent approach and teaching passion. Additionally, concerts are also organised. Children learn musical notes and the beauty of music, they develop excellent approach to learning. The exams are held in a relaxed atmosphere, books and all the information are always on time.
