South Arbor is a wonderful school. Lots of fantastic teachers and staff! So glad we decided to have our daughter go here!

South Arbor is a wonderful school with a great feeling of community. Education and morals are a high priority.

South Arbor Charter is a great school and we consider ourselves lucky to have been blessed with this opportunity of sending both our kids to this great school. Teachers are exceptionally good and Principal Mrs. Bondy is very dedicated and sincere in keeping up the best standards and values this school has.

My children switched to South Arbor Charter Academy when one child was in 7th grade and the other was in 5th grade. I was not pleased with the middle school at a different NHA school, so the decision was made to change to South Arbor. I immediately saw grades return to where we felt they should be and both children adapted and flourished in their new school. The curriculum has challenged when the children needed to be challenged and the teachers have been wonderful at making sure that material is understood. South Arbor teaches not only the academics they are expected to, but also teaches them about how to be good, responsible, and caring individuals through their moral focus and other projects. Both children have been involved in different extra-curricular activities through South Arbor and thoroughly enjoyed them. My experience with South Arbor has left me feeling that my children are well prepared for high school and their future.

We are impressed with the dedication and professionalism of all the teachers and staff. Academics (subject matter and homework levels) seem strong, but not overwhelming. We are pleased to report our kids have not experienced any bullying from other students.

One area that could be improved: there already is a policy regarding devices, texting/pictures in school, etc., but this seems not to be followed. As a result, our kids are feeling pressure to "fit in" by bringing their own devices and texting. Since we are trying to raise them to interact with people more and devices less, this is somewhat confusing to our kids, and undermining of our efforts as parents.

We are also somewhat disappointed at peer pressure to begin dating and pairing up at middle school/junior high levels, but are well aware this is the trend of society in general, and not the school's fault.

Academically great, excellant teachers, nice staff ..

If you're looking for a school with great character, excellent leaders & teachers, outstanding academics, a competitive athletic program, a superb music & band program, a fun & pleasant atmosphere, opportunities to be involved in theater, robotics & exciting after school programs, & an environment filled with encouragement that is family friendly...this is that top notch School!
I've been incredibly impressed by South Arbor for the last almost 4 years! This school provides everything a student & family is looking for!!!

These teachers care and it shows!

We have had two children attend SAA and one still attending. We have nothing but positive experiences to share from academic preparation, social conscience, athletics, and extra curricular activities that have all help to grow our children.

Both my children attend South Arbor Charter Academy. I am so very pleased and happy that I transferred them from a public school to a charter school. Both my children have excelled way above my expectations. The teachers are dedicated and help my kids get to where they need to be academically, morally and mentally. They have high expectations for the students and help them to get there.
The teachers are very patient, giving and spend time with students that are in need of one on one time to excel in a subject.
Mrs. Gyulveszi and Mrs. Russell are awesome. They both are so dedicated to their students and dedicated to helping them all succeed. They are very caring and giving unselfishly of their time to the kids.
Mrs. Bondy is dedicated to all of her students and staff. She is amazing.
I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
