Don’t recommend

My nan had this company install a new l part for her boiler which wasn’t working properly, a couple days later the boiler then leaked but they came straight away and turned off the water and then replaced the boiler which fixed the issue and we were happy with the service. However, they also turned the radiator off in the bedroom as they said it was leaking and told my Nan they would come back to replace the radiator. They informed my Nan they would be away over the Easter holidays and would be in touch after which she was fine with and was happy to wait until they were home but then they never got back in touch! My Nan called multiple times to ask when this would be fixed but they would never call back and on one occasion they answered but once my Nan started speaking them hung up on her!
Me and my mum both tried to get my Nan to contact another company but she didn’t want to go elsewhere as wanted to support her local business who has helped before! We couldn’t convince her call someone else to fix it until after almost 2 months of being ignored! She has been left very disappointed by the service she has received!
I think it’s disgraceful that a company would treat an elderly woman like this, it’s fair enough they fixed what they could and then were away but if you tell someone you’re going to contact them (particularly someone elderly) then you should contact them! If you’ve decided you don’t want to finish the job you’ve started then you should as least inform them of this! Clearly this company doesn’t care about their customers and I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you want half a job done and to be ignored!

Hi Nat

I’m sorry you’re disappointed with our service. We have tried to contact your Nan on multiple occasions but we never got an answer. We even knocked on the door which also went unanswered within a pre agreed timeslot. We assumed she had got someone else to do it instead.

I would like to also add, that when your Nan had water pouring through her ceiling on a Saturday afternoon from a split scale reducer, we arrived within the hour isolated, repaired the leak and did not charge her.

If you would like to contact us on 07539703469, we would be more than happy to sort this out for her.

Fantastic service

I would very highly recommend South Essex Plumbing and Heating. Steve came out at very short notice and fitted a new boiler for us. He was extremely friendly, polite and very professional. All in all he did a fantastic job and I would not hesitate to call on them again should I need any of their services. Thank you so much Steve for our new boiler.

We’ve used South Essex plumbing and heating on numerous occasions and on all accounts have executed work to a high level. Very polite, hard working and considerate of our home. We recently had a new boiler fitted and installed and from first engagement right through to the end was seamless, offering honest expert advice. No hard sales, just honest opinions. Our only regret was not finding them sooner. Thanks once again
