South France Villas Reviews 

After having issues within our villa chosen, and booked through South France Villas. The customer service By SFV has been extremely poor. We have been told that this is not there problem , and they will do nothing to assist with issues or resolving. Owner has been very helpful overall trying to resolve a serious Wasp infestation within the grounds. To the point we have spend nearly 3 days within the villa with minimal use of the pool and outdoor area. While trying to get a plan in place in case we have to leave, with regards to compensation towards onward accommodation. We have been told that previous tenants did not complain reference any wasps. And that its not their SFVs Problem. Its the Owners. Owner is trying their best but 3 days into our holiday, 4 Wasp stings, while using the pool and 2 kids who are now to scared to go back in. But not SFVs issue, Id likely avoid this company going forward and advice anyone who likes a level of customer service from the firm you pay for the booking to also avoid. If i find myself having to vacate this villa, without having any form of holiday and paying to stay somewhere else i will be seeking the costs covered back legally. While we appreciate SFV can not stop wasps, the fact there is a clear infestation an nests within the property area. Is expect a lot more sympathy and help to resolve any issue. Not just to be told you brokered the villa, took your commission and thats all. is a complete disregard to your own customers.

We rented a place called Domaine de Mirepoix through South France Villas. The place was beautiful but very old, borderline creepy inside. It was like stepping inside the house of old aunt. We dealt mostly with the owner who was helpful but very inquisitive, asking for the name and age of all members of the party. The property manager was OK, spoke good English but not friendly at all. The cleaning leady was obnoxious. Only the gardener was really nice. At the end the property manager and the cleaning lady showed up one hour before you leave, which was very disruptive, and litterally stood there while you have to write their review! There were French people in our party who found the whole experience fine. But if you're a foreigner, stay away. South France Villas was not doing anything so you have no guarantee about you are going to find.

Very disappointed that Southfrancevillas.com offered a substandard, dirty & dangerous villa in France. When complaining they use the excuse of "we are only the booking agent"
Filthy dirty villa, disgusting hot tub, mouse droppings, and exposed electrical sockets, abandoned cars, and discarded empty gas bottles, very nice for our 2 family holiday with small children, paying just short of £9000 ! Pictures available
