Overall a poor buying experience

Overall a poor buying experience. Seller embellished the description of the coin and failed to describe that it had been cleaned. When I pointed this out, Seller refused to refund citing that it would be a waste of his time to do so. Disappointing attitude and customer service and I won’t be returning.

Avoid buying from Stephen Takle if you…

Avoid buying from Stephen Takle if you plan to get your coins graded and encapsulated.

Before buying a rare sovereign from him, I made it clear that I planned to get it graded and asked if there had been any restoration, to which he replied no, and that it should be fine.

So I spent over £120 on the grading fees only for it to come back in a holder labeled "restored" thus no grade assigned.

He offered me a refund for the price of the coin, but not for the grading fee as he should have done.
