I have placed many orders with Sovietmilitarystuff.com over a five year period, and the company has always been helpful and pleasant, even in the midst of very stressful times. I own thirty-two acres of timber in the southern US that always needs work. The climate is very hot and humid in the Summer, and the Sumrak uniforms they sell are the most comfortable and useful work clothes I have ever used.

One of the big reasons why shipping takes a long time for my orders has been the products ordered have been manufactured after the order is received. The customer service folks examine the order when they receive it from the manufacturer and will reject any garment they find defective and have the manufacturer fill the order again. The other big reason orders spend much time in transit is they are shipped via postal service rather than DHL. This isn't a complaint, its just an observation. I don't mind waiting for my orders. The company works hard to please its customers, and it shows. I intend to continue patronizing Soviet Military Stuff as I am well -pleased with them.

A great selection of hard to find items, will be purchasing again.

The shipping does take time but the product you receive is of excellent quality

My Ushanka is wonderful! I was even able to get it in RUS 64 size. Which I am never able to find!

I ordered a hot weather “Afghanka” hat from them and received it in good condition. Shipping took a little bit of time given the global situation and the local one but they provided me with tracking information and I received the hat fairly quickly all things considered. They respond to emails as well so I couldn’t be happier.

Bought 3 hats on March 3rd 2024. They didn't arrive yet. I sent 11 emails to them. Got only two replies.
Just contact PayPal, but I think I won´t get my 90 $USD back.

Took forever to ship, and sent me the wrong thing. The color was not right on my sniper suit. I ordered partizan and got some Chinese camo.

Stay away from this site... you have been warned!!
i) There is no communication at all: they will not reply to emails ..
ii) I ordered two hats and two belts, but none of them arrived as "described": the hats came in wrong sizes and without badges and the belts were copies made yesterday...
iii) To get my money back from these scammers I had to return these items to Western Bid, Inc.
3500 W Hallandale Beach Blvd, Pembroke Park, FL, US, 33023 and I had to pay for the return postage.
They sell fakes and damaged items.

Order was made at the start of June, didn't hear anything for about a week, looked online and saw a lot of negative reviews and scam warnings.

Requested a refund via their website but nothing happened.

Contacted Paypal and asked them to deal with it, day later Sovietmilitarystuff responded via Paypal.

Said my stuff had to be special ordered (I payed 10$ more for this) and that my stuff would be shipped a week later at the latest. It wasn't so I contacted Paypal, it gave them a about 10 days to respond, they did so within 1 week with a ticket that they had shipped my order.

Sovietmilitarystuff said that the reason why they were late with shipping and didn't contact me was because the Russians shelled them and cut of their electricity, which I understood so I agreed to give them more time.

Anyway a month later the package finally arrived, I had to pay 10$ customs fee and I noticed the package had been opened.
Sovietmilitarystuff had marked the package as a gift, instead of sale of goods, as well as marking the total value of the package at 10$. Note I had payed them about 10$ extra for them to deal with customs fee as well.
I found out the reason I had to pay the extra customs fee (you don't pay 10$ fee on a package valued at 10$), was because they declared it falsely.

But my focus was on the package itself, I payed the customs fee and they released the package to me.

Opening the package I was confused, I had ordered a beige/brown military Gorka (the colors matter (connected with work)) but I stared at a woodland green Gorka. Frustrated by this I thought to myself after all this hassle that atleast I could use it when I go hiking or do wilderness stuff.

Well I ordered a size 62(RU) to make it much larger than my actual size so that I could add winter and other gear to the uniform. What I received was closer to a size 56(RU), it didn't even fit me as a base layer.

Currently Paypal is unable to refund my purchase directly since Sovietmilitarystuff uses and intermediary payment service called Westernbid.inc, that is located in the US.

Westernbid.inc requested that to receive a full refund I had to ship it to them, well I ordered a thing from Europe, and shipping to Ukraine is still not cheep.
But shipping to Westernbid.inc in the US costs me roughly 120$ the total value of the package is 180$, with the additional fees I would at most receive around 50$ if I deduct the customs fee.

I am currently in talks with my national customer protection committee and the word from them is that if I was shipped the wrong product, the storefront or their processor need to stand for the return shipping fee since the error was made on their part.

Paypal also advice me to contact Westernbid.inc directly as well as the committee which I have now done.

The committee recommended that I give Westernbid.inc and Paypal a chance to respond, they said to the end of the week. If not due to the amount of the goods sold and the evidence provided by me they would lift it as a possible legal case or even scam.

Ordered something on 27.11.22, on 6th December 22 i got a reply after answering for the shipping status, they said it will sent in the next week. Since this mail they didnt answer me anymore.
Got my money back mid January, they didn't even answered paypal.

Item arrived within 20 days with no problems. Owner quickly replied over email when asked about order details. Overall really good experience.
