I'm sorry to hear that the shipment took two months. I did look at your account and that part is actually a resale part (something we buy and sell as is) so we'll reach out to our supplier updated lead times on their parts. There have been supply chain constraints on this specific part and that likely led to the delay in shipping.

I also looked at the communication history with our Support Team - thank you for emailing them about the delay.

Again, my apologies for the delay in getting your unit over to you but it was due to supply chain constraints and our ability to get product to then ship out but we'll take your feedback and see if there are things we can improve internally. Thank you again.

The SparkFun order page

The SparkFun store page was well laid out. All the necessary information readily available. The order forms were where they were supposed to be and the ordering was quick. Emails letting me know the state of my order and a prompt delivery.

Shipped internationally sooner than promised, great response times to my queries, and I have no doubt that there would be top class support if it were needed. Product arrived and performs as described, I would highly recommend.

Good company with good products

Good company with good products. USPS "lost" the package in Denver, CO. Cannot give a review on parts i haven't received as of 1/6/26. Based on past experience they are great parts at good prices happy to do business with them hence 4 stars. USPS needs to clean up their act.

Good all the way around.

Quick shipping. Great inventory. The only reason for knocking off one star is the shipping. Having that fixed base shipping cost makes it cost prohibitive to put in a small order.

I'm sorry to hear the part didn't work out of the box. I did look at your account and that part is actually a resale part (something we buy and sell as is) so we'll reach out to our supplier about what's going on with that unit. I also looked at the communication history and it does appear one of our Customer Support Representatives sent an email on 12/31 with options to resolve this RMA. Maybe it got stuck in the Spam folder?

I have asked that same Representative to reach out to you again today with a follow up and with a list of options. Please review that and respond with the option you'd like to move forward with and she'll make that happen. We would like the unit back so we can test in-house and then share that information with our supplier so you can expect that request in the next email.

Thank you again and apologies your experience hasn't been great so far with one of our resale products.

DO NOT BUY RASPBERRY PI ZERO W

They sent me a replacement raspberry pi zero w because the first one was sent dead. I got the replacement and it also is dead. I emailed the company a couple of days ago but have not gotten a response.

I have reviewed your account and your communications to our Customer Support Team. Unfortunately, if the Raspberry Pi Zero W's are both dead, then we need to reach out to Raspberry Pi as those are resale products, not something we make in-house. We will look into and test the rest of our inventory and reach out to our contacts at Raspberry Pi to see if they've heard any other feedback like this from other customers. We haven't heard this from other customers but will absolutely take your feedback seriously and ensure our inventory is functional and get replacements for the units you received. I'm very sorry about your experience but one of our Support Representatives will reach out to you tomorrow to see what we can do. We will absolutely test a unit and then ship that tested and functional unit to you. We do ask that you send the dead units back to us so we can fully test them and send that info to Raspberry Pi.

Finally, I did review your most recent email and it was sent after we closed for the day on 12/31, our office was closed on New Year's Day, and we had a small crew on Friday so it's possible our team members online on Friday just didn't get to it yet but I'll make sure a response is prioritized tomorrow morning.

Thank you again for the feedback and we'll take steps internally based on this feedback and ensure you get a fully functional unit in the next shipment.

Do not bother with expedited shipping.

I paid for Priority Mail shipping. USPS did not receive the package until 4 days after the shipping date. Creating a mailing label is NOT shipping same day. It's only a label. If USPS does not have the package, then it's not shipped. After that USPS took a week to get the order out of Colorado. Due to this, my deadline was missed and I had to complain to customer service with strong words before I was eventually refunded for PART of my shipping cost. Disappointed overall.

I did review your account and your email exchanges with our Customer Support Representative. I'm sorry the shipping didn't leave our warehouse for several days after you requested Priority Mail. USPS does have a tendency to run a bit slower (not always picking up daily) and, as our Representative pointed out, we have little to no control once the package was handed off to USPS but that's no excuse for the package taking 5 days to leave our facility. I apologize that was your experience. We will take this feedback and use it to improve our internal processes.

After reviewing the communications with our Customer Support Representative, it does appear all your questions were answered and the issue was resolved but please email support@sparkfun.com again if there is anything else we can help you with.
