Fast turn around time
Fast turn around time, well packaged, simple ordering process, fantastic product range. However the website does not make it very clear that free delivery for orders over £40 is the order cost ex. VAT not including VAT. However Specialist Crafts offers such a wide range of well priced and good quality products this minor issue will not stop me using them again for art supplies.

Purchased Jelotong wood for carving as it is supposed to carve as easily as Basswood whereas in reality it’s like trying to carve a brick and seems to harden the more it is worked. Won’t buy again.

Jelutong wood is a hardwood (due to having a fine texture and low density) and should be suitable for carving by hand or machine. We will come back to you with more information shortly.

When I got an order wrong they immediately corrected it.
Can not fault the quick helpful and friendly response.

Excellent experience
I had an excellent experience with Specialist Craft. The delivery was extremely quick, and communication throughout the process was clear and kept me fully informed. I particularly appreciated that my items were dispatched separately to avoid any delays to the overall order, this level of consideration really stood out. Prompt Response to an issue with Delivery
You know how good a company is when there is an issue with your delivery and have to contact customer service. On this occasion Astra at customer service was very apologetic and sorted out my issue straight away the day I contacted the with my issue and sent out a missing item from my order with next day delivery. I couldn’t ask for anything better than the service I received thank you.
