A year ago I paid for a year's subscription - and of course, I didn't realize the time had come for it to renew. I wanted to fully cancel my membership as I don't use Speechify as much as I used to. Chris was really helpful and friendly, and gave me a discount to stay subscribed, which I appreciated - he didn't have to do that at all, but it also didn't feel too pushy as well, which shows the level of customer service this company has. I will definitely always recommend Speechify to people looking for an AI text-to-speech app.
The app itself is great - zero complaints there. It's extremely helpful for studying as well as listening to downloaded fan fiction IYKYK.

I was not able to get speechify to work. It kept getting hung up at certain parts of the book I was trying to have read. I couldn't get speechify to open any other books. I am guessing that it was something on my end because I have many friends who were able get speechify to work really well.

When I spoke with their help group and asked to cancel my Speechify account they were very easy to work with.

Sheila was a ROCKSTAR! If only other companies reps could be more like her. She truly went the distance to help me and ensure my understanding and satisfaction that my questions and initial problem were resolved. Hire more like her please. The world needs it.

Excellent customer service — issue resolved quickly

I originally signed up for what I believed was a three-day free trial, but I was charged immediately. However, I reached out to customer service and they responded extremely fast. The issue was resolved without any problem. Since the payment went through Apple, the refund itself was processed by Apple a few days later.

1st its a great app , take a picture of the page you want and it reads it back to you with simple actions to control speed voice tone to your needs.
2nd thee customer care is superb, a company that actually cares about its users , (almost unheard of these days ).
