First time speed dating. So much fun! Felt nervous at first, but I needn't have. Everyone was so friendly, kind and good fun. A great first experience 😄

I would like to give a negative score if I could. The event I have booked was cancelled without any notifications. So I spent the time and money to travel to the venue and waited there for half an hour for nothing. When I contacted the Customer Service team, the person I talked to didn't seem to be bothered and didn't show any apology for the situation.

I feel this is a total scam because they take money for doing nothing and even don't offer a refund. Not to mention the extra travel expenses and time I wasted on this issue. Also from the previous review, I could see they always find excuses for not enough people for some places. However an event held once a month in London is cancelled for insufficient participants might indicate the problem of the company. A cancellation without notification is totally unprofessional for any event. The customer service advisor insisted that they have sent a notification. When I asked when they sent it, they gave me a date before the time I booked the event. How ridiculous is that!

There are other similar events held on the day and I made the wrong choice based on the previous reviews. I hope my experience could provide a solid reference for future participants to make a wise decision.

The age gap could’ve been smaller for more chemistry between people. But the atmosphere and the way it was hosted was pleasant :)

The host is nice but the event and system is bad.
I joint the March event for bisexual dating. And it was cancelled due to low number of participants. They didn’t issue a refund, instead they offer a chance to join the next one.
I joint the June bisexual dating, and there was a technical issue on the matching system so there is no female participants showing in the matching system(I can only see male). It is not a heterosexual dating and it was so frustrating. I emailed them the issue, they came back on the next day and said it is fixed now and you can see female. It should be available on the first day to submit tick, not after. I may lose my match due to this issue.

Good experience. However, not too many ladies, unfortunately.
Overall, it was quite nice.

I paid for a one-off speed dating event in newcastle, but then a few days before I got a text saying they had changed the date. No options, just "here is your new date". Then, the day before the new date, another text saying the date was cancelled. No refund. I found a "promo code" on my account that I might be able to use to book a new date, but really there is no way I can call this a good experience. I haven't attended a date, but I doubt that I will.

The host was really nice and made us feel less awkward

The people that I met there were awesome! I really enjoyed the event even though I was only given 4 minutes to talk to each individual. Overall, it was fun!

I was at a party in Bristol, very good organised, nice restaurant and friendly atmosphere! The best experience ever). I highly recommend it!

Charged my card without my knowledge. When I asked them what for they said it was for "monthly membership". You what??? why would I sign up for monthly membership when i dont go every month and also I did not sign up for it, disgusted.

Event poorly run. But the site says it's easy to cancel membership subscription. it's a nightmare to cancel. It could be a lot easier .

The event was good with a friendly host. However the online speed dating site is disappointing. They increased my true age by a few years. Although this was corrected after complaining, members can’t actually see their own profiles beyond the photo. I had to rely on my matches to tell me what was showing on my profile. This was disappointing as it is character defamation to change your age.

Signed up to an event. The "host section" had a half-filled bio which ended with, and I quote, "I enjoy spending time with frien". So that's about the quality you can expect.

Event info gives no details on where at the venue you need to go, or who will be where. I walked past the bar and saw it was empty. I didn't want to draw attention to myself and ask the bar staff, so I just went home. Info about whether it's in a function room etc could have been placed in the event info section.

I paid £15 for my ticket, but then it went to £11 the next day. Then back to £18. Tickets were still available even during the event. I don't think it was really down to the "last few" at all.

I have tried to delete my account, but they keep telling me to "log on to the website and go to settings". This shows you how often they go on their own site, as there is no account deletion option to speak of.

Seems like a poorly run shambles of a company that prays on single people.
