Almost..

Transaction and litigation lawyer here. It's a strong product, but vanilla Claude Cowork just feels better to me. If they will always be playing catch up with the other guys, I can't afford to be one step behind.

Rude and shady telemarketing practices

We got a phone call that was not requested from spellbook. As the company owner anything like this would be my decision and they refused to speak with me and hung up on me when I stated its my decision and to speak with me or end the call.

Spellbook is the real deal

I've been a Spellbook user since November 2022, right about the time when ChatGPT became the revolutionary AI experience. Being excited about GenAI and its possibilities for law, I was glad to find Spellbook. There were several plus points for early adopters:

1. Spellbook was already a Word plugin which shows the team has a deep understanding of how contracts are reviewed and edited in the real world.
2. Transparent pricing scheme. You knew how much to pay for Spellbook. If getting corporate approval to get budget to use AI tools is a bummer, you can pay for it just like you pay for ChatGPT.

The most satisfying experience is that Spellbook is a product that keeps growing, and remains miles ahead of most of the competition. When trying other products, I realised I've taken for granted how easy it is to directly apply changes (instead of copy and pasting), using automated playbooks and standards to review contracts and running "tests" on contracts to speed reviews.

Using this product will challenge the way you do your work, and even if you hate change or can't implement them in your org or industry, inspire a deep curiosity on the possibilities of GenAI and law.

If you want to be at the forefront of how GenAI is applied to law, this is the place you want to be.

Great tool for in house counsel: gain time and enhance the quality of your documents and interactions

This is a great tool for in-house counsel. Helps summarizing complex contracts in very simple and non legal terms which is super useful for communicating with non lawyer-stakeholders in the company. Also great for on the spot drafting and fine tuning of contracts - the tool can turn a simple complex into a bullet proof clause that seamlessly integrates with the rest of the contract in a matter of seconds. The other tools (playbook, benchmarking, etc.) are also useful but tend to suggest a lot of irrelevant changes, which can make their use a bit tedious. But I'm sure technology will eventually catch up. I loved Spellbook from the beginning and have been an intensive daily user since we bought the package. I would recommend it to any in house counsel, totally worth your money. Can't wait to try Spellbook Associate!

I love Spellbook

I love Spellbook. I use it all day long in all aspects of my practice, from helping draft contractual provisions to drafting pleadings and discovery. While it has its quirks, it's an immensely useful AI tool that helps me be more productive, which is key for a small firm.
