Haart is not good at all

Haart is not good at all, if you have house or flat for rent don't use haart.
they don't respond , they take much money and if there is any service the charge 5- 10 times the actual price.
I suppose to receive my October payment on 03/10 2020 the tenant paid the October rent but haart didn't pay so far and they didn't inform me at all in fact I sent many emails to them, they didn't reply, they don't answer the phone.
don't deal with them

goodmove timeshare connection

If you come across goodmove careful this company are the most con artist ever. They come to this nonsense company never heard of recommending two estate agents who arent bothered in your property then takes photos while the other thinks your property is a dump saying ain't worth much you can tell from their slapped up face!!! Reason why because they promise you your property will be sold so ok you believe them as you start to give you contract and information as such. They want your deeds. So you get paid at a low price. Gets legal services who looks like a college girl to be your legal representative. On the last call guy called Ross phones up saying all the lies about your property has severe damage and will be issues to next door. So tell me what issues next door said nothing last 10 years absolutely nothing. So he says 5k for your property as it's damage even a ford fiesta is worth much more!!! So he raised price to 10k!!! Liars they ain't gonna pay you they lied company says any condition on their company websute. Good move reviews are all staff do not believe goto proper estate agents these are cowboy sharks.

So really they want it cheap so they think you're thick. I will get trading standards on your company in Leeds and tell BBC watchdog that your lot blackmail property sellers. Oh SDL auction paid more than you lot so Ka-ching

Absolutely shocking and untrustworthy.

Absolutely shocking and untrustworthy.

I've had my property letters through Haart for several year at Colchester and had very few issues with them.

But the Sales team are the worst I've ever come across. I was contacted by their team in July to see if I was interested in putting my property on the market. After considerable thought I agreed to.

Lloyd who contacted me told me that he had a number of buyers looking for properties in the same block as me and he would do everything to see what we got.

After promptly sending all the necessary signed documents back, I recieved one phonecall saying that he couldn't get in touch with the tenant. Given my flat was rented through Haart I advised him to speak to the lettings team about access.

I recieved no valuation, no details of marketing and a couple of weeks later when I called to find out what was happening I couldn't get through to anyone nor would anyone call me back to discuss the situation.

I finally put in a formal complaint to which the manager attempted to contact me once and was never to be heard of again.

I sent several emails, even spoke to my contacts at lettings and still no-one has called me back to discuss the sale of my property. I even got Lloyd on the phone who said and I quote 'I give you my word that Sophie (the manager) will call you back as soon as she's off the phone' well that was almost a week ago and I'm yet to hear from Haart.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES approach Haart in Colchester to market your property. They will cost you valuable time and leave you angry and frustrated. Their staff are incompetent particularly at a time when we've all come to learn that a job is a precious thing.

My issue is still unresolved as they're yet to contact me to discuss this matter. Suffice to say I'm not holding my breath. So save yourself the stress and go with another agent.

Rip off merchants

I'm not surprised to read so many awful reviews from genuine tenants. I'm a landlord and have found their service truly appalling. They furloughed many of their staff and used the mechanism of having us tax payers subsidise their profits as an excuse to make their lack of service even worse, while increasing their extortionate prices.

Check out the Catherine Tate sketch "chrome in the kitchen " to understand these money grabbing charlatans.

Like many others, I lament the fact that I cannot give a zero, or negative rating

Response from Davand

Dear Davand, You have put me in Financial difficulty for Shelter, food and education I need my money back. I thought you will be trustworthy, please...

His response:
As per our previous conversations the holding deposit is non-refundable unless references are complete satisfactory (e.g provide contract of employment or provide guarantor).

Please see the attached offer form you have both signed where by you agree to our T&C’S.

As you have also left a review via trust pilot, our head office will be picking this up which means this is out of my control and you will therefore be contacted from a senior in due course to discuss the final decision.

Haart has been absolutely awful

Haart has been absolutely awful. I can't find sufficient adjectives to describe my experience of them.

The roof to the property I was renting leaked for weeks, before they did anything about it. By then, the ceiling board came loose. The builders didn't do a thorough job the first time round, or the second time round, so the roof leaked again.

When the ceiling board came down i.e. partially collapsed, it revealed asbestos in the roof. Even if risk, following exposure, was minimal, I should have been informed about the presence of asbestos as a tenant of the property. Haarts didn't think I needed to be told. It was a friend who saw it and raised the alarm bell.

The hob then started giving problems, largely due to the leaks from the roof. It would work intermittently, then stopped working altogether. I haven't been able to cook on the hob for over 2 months. The best part is when Haarts FINALLY got a contractor out, who said the hob needed to be replaced, Haarts called me, the tenant, for an update on what the electrician said. Bear in mind these are contractors they send out, but they call the tenant for an update.

Haart have never retained a full set of keys to the property, although I asked them to, more than once, and they said they would. This has meant that I have had to grant them/their contractors access.

I'm moving out as I've had enough.

That house was my home. It should have been a place of refuge for me. I paid my rent on time, every month, had the house cleaned professionally, every 2 weeks, throughout my 2+ years there. I was a good tenant.

Even now that I'm moving out, I'm getting it professionally cleaned.

I did my part as a tenant, throughout my time at the property.

Haart not only didn't, they don't seem the least bit concerned by the fact that their lack of due care and attention has caused damage to an asset of a landlord, but also disrupted the home of a tenant.

Iam a self employed handyman and I…

Iam a self employed handyman and I visited all the local estate agents in Torquay and I must say the two Emma’s made me feel really welcome and went through the property maintenance procedures with me and how they would pass my details on. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

VERY Poor service

Poor service, don't answer phone calls or emails. Don't care if tenants break tenancy agreement. Did an inspection of a did not follow up with any of the concerns.
Ignored all emails for the last 2 months.
DO NOT USE!
ALso seems most of the good comments on here are possibly done by the company themselves, I dont trust that most of them seem to be only 1 or two reviews done on either spicerhaart or their sister companies.

It’s not expensive if you get a good price ...and a good experience

I think it is worthwhile going with a really professional firm. I honestly believe there is a lot of complete nonsense advertised about those cheap online companies. I tried one in the past (back in 2013) and it was a disaster. Of course Spicer Haart will use all the digital platforms, but they also have clients who come to them because they are recommended and they know their customers. Plus there’s stuff like mortgages and just lots of follow up that makes the process easier. That is not something you can replace digitally. Lloyd Hart (no relation despite the name!) was really good and really listened.

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Literally do not care about their tenants, spent years renting through them, paid my full rent a week early without fail. Treated myself and family terribly. Worst experience I have ever had. took them over 9 months to do repairs in my property, Stay well away, Cannot wait to get out of this place so I stop OVER PAYING! I am disgusted with the service I have received from Haart over the years and I am looking forward to never associating myself/giving them a penny ever again.

Glad that I know this now rather than before I buy a property in the New year as I would never even consider them. What a company they truly are. North London branch is a shambles. They even hired a convicted criminal (didn't even check his background) and he was showing people around expensive properties in London, that just says it all. Go elsewhere, dont expect management to help you! And the people below management raise their voice and are extremely rude to you on the phone.

Sadly like other posters here we are now considering taking legal action for reasons I won't go into here, but they cost us a significant amount of money to no fault but their own.

Honestly if you find a property, chances are a much better company will also have it so I would reccomend looking around, I can't wait to get out of the hell that this company has put me and my family through.

A truly unprofessional attitude

A truly unprofessional attitude, any company which makes, and breaks appointments without having the decency or professionalism to inform a client, is not worth the aggravation. Best avoided

Disgusted with our treatment

Disgusted with our treatment
My dad was a tenant of Haart and was diagnosed with a terminal brain disease. He has had to move to nursing home care, which has been hugely upsetting in itself. Haart are refusing to give his deposit back. We have telephoned almost daily only for our calls to go unanswered or cut off when we explain what we are calling about, we have sent reams of emails which go unanswered. We have tried to raise complaints but there has been no response. Frustratingly we are now having to look at legal action, which is the last thing my dad needs at the moment. I have been absolutely disgusted with the treatment he has had from Haart. They have made an awful situation so much worse.

Haarts in Leicester is the worst…

Haarts in Leicester is the worst possible company I have ever dealt with. I wanted to put my property on rent and they made it sound perfect. Talked me into the full management package. The service has been appalling. I felt it was all misold just to get my business and after that it’s been nothing but a nightmare.
You tell them how you feel and raise your concerns and they respond in a manner where they make out like your lying to them. Taking over a month to get back to me about my concerns raised and even though out of time scales they believe they are in the right. It’s done nothing but stress me and my family out to the point I wish I had never got involved with haarts Leicester.

Terrible company

Terrible company. They are recruiting for BJB and i was dealing with a very nice lady helping me with my application. After having a phone interview i was told by her they would be in contact and if i needed anything to contact her on Linkedin. After a week i heard nothing and called Spicerhaart which there was never anyone available so i did as was told and messaged the lady on Linkedin. She told me she no longer worked for Spicerhaart and to call them to get an update. When i finally got through i was told that a man was now dealing with my application and would be in contact as soon as he had finished off his phone call.. that was 4 weeks ago, no contact what so ever. I find this unacceptable. After struggling to get back on my feet after an emergency surgery and heightening money worries due to being off work i was desperate to get back working and to be fed with such reassurance and hope that everything was being sorted i have just been brushed under the carpet. I understand confusion and everybody makes mistakes but they have to understand when it comes to jobs, it is peoples lives they are messing with. So thank you Spicerhaart for absolutely nothing.
