To be honest - I like Iconic Strings a lot. This is my favourite string quintet library and my first choice if I prepare to do some MIDI mock-ups of Mozart, Haydn or Bach. Of course, it could be better (more short and medium length articulations with better control of attack time), but in general - I am a very satisfied user :)

Excellent sample library.
Still have not been able to get my product (Abbey Road 2 Professional) working 8 days after purchashing, really really disapointed in the support i have recieved. When i get an email from support i respond back only then to get another response a day or two later. Eight days have passed and i still have no solution. If i needed this product for work their is no chance i could use it. My rating is therefore not a repesenatation the actual product but the support i have recieved and i chose to vent my fustrations here as i have no other way to do so because when i contact Spitfire support i am greeted with a bot which gives automated questions and cannot understand my terrible experience.

This library is insanely realistic sounding. The legatos especially make a huge difference in making solo string sounds feel like the real thing. Thanks so much for the work you've put into this!
Unbelievable detail, playability and sound. The space of Abbey Road is captured intricately in this string library. Mixes well with BBCSO, and also with my own 'cello.
They were the most musical strings I have ever heard. It feels great to play and I have been impressed since the sable. I would like to see more small groups or solo instruments.

Amazing sound. Cuts through a pop mix which is what I was looking for. Easy to dial in and just intuitive right out of the box. This will feature in a lot of coming productions for sure.
Very warm sound and playable too. Mic options really broaden the spectrum of possibilities of this one.
Great Sound, easy to use. Sounds already in great balance. Almost nothing to mix between individual channels. Many microphone mixes help to find right sound in a few minutes
