Very warm sound and playable too. Mic options really broaden the spectrum of possibilities of this one.

Great Sound, easy to use. Sounds already in great balance. Almost nothing to mix between individual channels. Many microphone mixes help to find right sound in a few minutes

excellent and so useful Always special and particular in its sound

I’m extremely pleased with Abbey Road Two and find it sits very well with contemporary electronic music. this library is full of inspiring sounds and ranges from extremely dry to dripping with reverb. The mic options in the professional version make a huge difference with the overall sound and translate extremely well in a busy mix.

I upgraded from the non pro version. It was a waste of money. The player is too demanding and I can't really use any of the new mic-positions I wanted to upgrade for.

a potentially great strings library that needs more attention to details (strange attack and release on many sounds, uneven volume between sections or registers...) to turn it excellent. I hope Spitfire would refine it.

This is the real thing!!!

Sound quality is very good as expected but your quality control or methodology to check each note and articulation for a complete library needs to improve. Please review the input in the thread "Abbey Road 2 Bugs" on your forum. I could not reproduce some of the issues mentioned there, so you might have made a silent update but with the latest version I did find a few issues which good quality control should have found and corrected. For the first time ever I did a systematic test taking several hours. I developed a project with a region per articulation and all playable notes for each instrument. I tried out two dynamic levels till now (100% and 50%) . My note designation is based on Logic Pro. Violin 1 Harmonics A#6 till C#7 sound like D#6 till F#6 Violin 2 Harmonics G#6 till C#7 sound like C6 till F#6 Trill HT A#5 and B5 are different than the rest of the HT Trills Double Bass Longs and Legato C0, C#0, D0 are all a C0 for my ear. These two notes sound correct for other articulations. Staccatissimo A1, A#1 are actually A2, A#2 (so a jump of one octave before going back to the correct pitch) Sul Pont playing technique changes several times first at G1 and strongest at A#2 Sul Tasto similar technique changes at G1 but not as pronounced as Sul Pont Tremolo changed bowing as from G1

Spitfire does it again! This library sounds HUGE, and is a great complement if you already own Studio One or on it's own. The legatos are super realistic and are great for solo parts.

Ever since this got released I had my eye in it and the winter sale let me grab it and I must say. DAMN! This is the best all around quality in a solo string library I’ve seen in years.

Works great, no need to use Kontakt player either which always has problems

Abbey Road Two - Iconic Strings Professional sounds very good and is a fantastic library. A dream becoming reality, literally. I appreciate that it can sound dry, if desired. The shorts are awesome, but the legato is good, too.

Stunning realism and the ability to use vintage or modern mic setup offers fantastic flexibility.

The shorts are top tier. Incredible quintet library.

This is a beautiful sounding library. The shorts are PHENOMENAL. I love their bite and dynamic range. They're almost worth price of admission on their own. The long textures are gorgeous too. The only thing I really find lacking is the control of the vibrato in the legato patches. It's available in a few other articulations, which is why this doesn't make complete sense. Thank goodness the regular longs have vibrato control. If you intend to layer this library with other larger ensembles, this issue won't be as much of a headache. When your solo instrument is front and center, this can be a serious issue. Since this is marketed as a "Professional" version, I greatly hope that Spitfire can implement legato vibrato control somewhere down the line. I do recommend this library, but uhhhh there's heartbreak in knowing something is ALMOST perfect

Like no other SA strings this product is perfect for pop music!
