Great VST and AU plugin that runs very well in Logic Pro, Garageband, FL Studio, Ableton and NI Apps on my Mac mini M4 Pro! Great experience all together!!!
Excellent set of orchestral patches, especially the extended legatos.
Great sounds and a lot of articulations. I'm very happy with it, even though I have not explored all the functionalities yet. I'd prefer having solo violins/celli (more often useful in my opinion) instead of solo brass, but I guess that's one of the main point of the Pro version.
I like the orchestra to listen to my demos and be able to continue working on my ideas.
A really great library for the use within Noteperformer and Dorico Pro. Its awesome to have so many great sounding articulations and they all work out of the box with Noteperformer. Core is not just Core, its a statement for highend quality.
An absolutely fantastic product that is the perfect balance of sonic quality and ease of use.
If this library had brass with more dynamic layers, it would be perfect for a cinematic use. Right now, it sounds beautiful for fantasy/soft music. It's really fun to play and easy to compose with.
It would be nice if there was another microphone position that outputs the dryest possible signal. But the space recorded is really good, so you can get along well with it. Unlike other libraries, BBC SO allows you to create a consistent template very quickly. Alles aus einem Guss. (German idiom - difficult to translate)
As an entry point for beginner to intermidiate composers there isn't any better option regarding quality vs price. At the discounted price I got the BBCSO Core, it is definitively a steal and while there are other, more powerful libraries out there, I believe this one to be an essential must have
BBCSO Core is a great value addition to the extensive sound library world. Now my string expressions are captured and reproduced from my scores. I also love the percussion and brass sections. It was easy to install and use. However the timpani could be more forward in sound. Overall I recommend this product at a very decent price point. I'm also happy that a part of the purchase price goes to the support of the BBC musicians. Long live the King!
BBC orchestral sound source core board, first, the lack of MIX tuning control panel, cancelled, and Pro complete version has a mix panel, so added, second, solo violin, viola, cello, bass solo skills, six techniques can be selected. The overall feeling is still very soft, legato techniques to strengthen, modify the opinion!
Very rich and textured, the interface is very simple to get around, all I miss are the solo patches...I guess I'll have to buy PRO....

I am not a composer in the sense of classical orchestral music. I'm ‘just’ a rock musician (for 30 years) and I'm embarking on a new journey. Suddenly a dream comes true, an orchestra at my fingertips. I haven't been as inspired as I am today for a long time. Thank you very much for that. And by the way - BBCSO sounds amazing!
