This is the appropriate version of BBC SO for me, a good balance between quality sound, flexibility and price.
Greatly Sampled Professional Orchestra sounds for a lower budget.
Core is a serious upgrade from the free version, but I purchased BBCSO Professional soon after I got Core. I am very happy with the quality of the sound of Pro.
This is perfect for me, more than enough instruments, size on disk acceptable for me. Fantastic sound, easy to use interface. Looking forward to spending time experimenting with this.
It is a truly remarkable library! I feel my creativity can expand so much in my compositions. I don’t have to be upset when I can’t get that sound I want from a violin that no other library has. It’s a real gift to the world and I am so grateful to have it!!
Just bought. Hope there would be a total tool bundle including the smaller symphony orchestar, Taxture, Pads, Ambition, Piano ect. for composing for pop, rocke, folks songs etc.

As usal fantastic sampling and mastering! Cool design and easy to use.
The product is helping me along the road of arranging without having an overwhelming array of features. In time I'll purchase the "Professional" version when I'm comfortable enough to start manipulating the mic positions etc, without me disappearing down a recording engineers rabbit hole.
Well, it sounds good. Lots of articulations is good to have, although it takes quite some time to load (my SSD is small and full , so I resorted to a spinning platter).I have figured out how to remove articulations in a template based on my free BBC orchestra, but is there a way make it global, so for example, if I start with an empty Cubase project and suddenly realize that I need a string quartet, could I create five tracks and only load legatos for starters? Maybe I´ll figure that out too.

Well worth the upgrade from Discover. I deliberated for some time as I didn't really use Discover much but I took the plunge as I thought the extra articulations and instruments would inspire me to do more with the library. I was right - I now try to carve out time each day to write with this - it is so inspiring.

Good amount of sounds for the price Is a high quality orchestra, but brass overall sounds a little artificial
Amazing sound of a symphonic orchestra.
Overall the library is great, since it has full section control, many articulations, detailed percussion, lush strings, and a beautiful in-built reverb. Wish the brass can be more powerful.
The individual instruments and the ensembles give me chills. Now if I could just piggyback this with Albion One or Colossus....
