As mentioned before, this library stands out for me. It doesn’t require Another VST host and sits flawlessly in Cubase Pro. I use large templates and don’t have any issues with the cpu or ram footprint of this library. I needed something that covered a wide range of microphone positions and good realistic articulations. Really good legato too! I good buy.
Wonderful library.
This is mainly one of the libraries that has been used to compose the soundtrack of the game "Call of the Sea" and the result is a great orchestral and emotive sound allowing me to get the emotions i want to transmit with a love (lovecraft) story like this one. Very powerful orchestral library
Awesome library, very complete for the price.
Sound 95% like a real Orchestra if you know what you are doing .. and I mean a GOOD one 😎
The product deserves to be the gold standard of orchestral libraries. The Spitfire Audio app is hard to navigate. You may end up having to repair and reset repeatedly. It should be disclosed that this product is not yet compatible with Mac OS X Monterey
Beautil sounds indeed
The sound of this library is absolutely amazing. Inspiring to play with. I think it imitates a real orchestra really well. There is a lot of articulations for each instrument to choose from and in combination with so many microphone positions it is very versatile. And on top of that the Pro version comes with leader players. I recommend it to everyone looking for versatile complete orchestral library with very realistic sound.
Excellent orchestra sample that I’ve ever had.
Nice sound. Complete orchestra with a great set of articulations and the first chair players. I recommend this product.
I bought Spitfire BBCSO Professional. I love how it sounds! However I feel the keyswitches and articulation stuff can do with some QoL updates. Would be nice if we could change all the articulations for a certain section (I.E. All the woodwinds, or just everything all it once) at the same time. Right now I got the keyswitches setup how I want them for the strings, but now I need to change everything for all the individual woodwinds and brass as well. This takes a lot of time. I know not every articulation is present on all the instruments, but most of the them do. What would be great is if you could select all instruments and set all the staccato's at keyswitch C#-1 for example. Then if that instrument has a staccato patch it will change it's keyswitch to that key. (This could also be nice for the mic settings). This would save a lot of time in setting that up! But I've definitely been enjoying the library otherwise! Sounds very good for ensembles. For solo instruments it's OK at best, but it's nice to have the option!
I think the product is very well-made, but one thing that I disappointed; I couldn't use product in two computers with one hard drive.
Sound quality is best in class! It is very easy to use and learn and has a lot of articulations to choose from, not to mention all the different microphone positions. You won't regret it if you buy it. Core edition is also brilliant and could be enough for your needs.
Simply wonderful.
The Pro version is SUCH a pleasure to play with. The extra solo instruments and additional tweaks you can make to the sound are worth every extra penny and in fact much more. Each instrument sounds true to life, and the programming that has gone into making the legatos sound realistic and react intuitively to different key touches is mind-boggling. This really is the next best thing to having a real live orchestra at your fingertips. I don't think I've often received such good value for money.
Having only recently received the BBC Symphony Orchestra SSD, I have merely scratched the surface of the incredible array of instruments and articulations but I have every confidence it will remain my go-to orchestral library for many years to come. Thank you for producing this library and thank you for paying royalties to the musicians who contributed to its creation.
One of the best sounding orchestra library on the market. The price is fair too. I can highly recommend it to anyone, who is interested in orchestral writing.
Such an amazing plugin! So inspiring and easy to use. I highly recommend getting this if you produce or want to start producing Orchestral music! A+++
I started with Discover, moved to Core and eventually went all in for PRO. I was very hesitant to spend the extra money on the PRO version. After a year with Core, I started to want to be able to draw focus on certain instruments or move them forward in the hall etc. The extra mic signals actually make this library soo much more versatile. If you love the sound of this library but are finding the 'Mix 1' signal restrictive, the PRO version may be for you. I have no regrets about the uograde. I could have spent the cost of the upgrade on a completely new different library, but I would most likely have been buying into a whole new and different set of problems and restrictions. Now the only limitations that I have are my own (apart from the inherent limitations of working with samples in the first place) If the small user interface issues and timing issues are addressed, this library gets 5 stars
