Great product,
One of their cheapest products, British Drama Toolkit still retains the exquisite sonic clarity and delicacy of their flagship tools. The best word for the performance engine is “helpful”. (Which isn’t always guarenteed with any plug in!) but is also expressive, responsive, productive and easy to use. Simple velocity can be the difference between brooding atmosphere or soaring and genuinely convincing string voices. It doesn’t cover the breadth of the Albion series but again, it costs a lot less. That said, I suspect there’s more to it than I’ve yet toyed with. Highly recommended.
Love it! Ingenious!
This sample library is excellent for whenever you need to compose fast as the you can just let a chord play itself for a long time before you feel the need to change anything. I haven't had to experience much but I've been using their "Main" patch on a current track and it just makes everything sound so immersive.

Having worked with the British Drama Toolkit since its release, I have been very impressed with the product's versatility. Highly playable, this turns out to be a great starter library as advertised. While it isn't suited, or designed, to create quick or riotous melody lines, it is fantastic for creating slowly moving passages full of delicious little details. Speaking of detail, the library can be surprisingly useful to add detail and texture to other compositions. My dirty secret is that I will turn up the soft sounds quite a bit and blend them with other libraries. My one nitpick is that this library uses up CPU resources more than many other Spitfire products. This may be because it is designed and functions differently or it may be my configuration. It is a small matter, but when stacking up tracks it can slow me down. Overall, the British Drama Toolkit is a delight and highly recommended.
As the name of this kit, all the samples are so dramatic, the sound with nature delay, with nice vibrato and how the tail is fading out is perfect,all of the sounds are very realistic. What is the standing point in this kit, is how you can combine different instrument together, Mix the tracks as you want(put all the tracks on Midi 1)and the bouncing sound gives you such mystery and lonely feeling, which is difficult to find from the other kit! Thumb up for the three layers idea! Highly recommend for the dramatic film or series music producing!
I'm very disappointed that the connection between velocity is hard wired. A simple dynamic range slider would be great and an option to fade through layers with the mod wheel. These are pretty standard features that I would love to see. It sounds amazing though been having a great time writing with it.

Beautiful sound, clean, easy to understand interface. This is a true shortcut for writing television cues, particularly of the mystery/drama style (obviously, I mean it is in the name after all!). This is a really cool instrument and a big time-saver, even if you own a lot of other Spitfire libraries.
