Excellent choir that is truly unique and extremely rich in lush sound.
I have been working with the Eric Whitacre Choir now for several weeks and am very pleased with the quality and plethora of options that it provides. What is does, it does very, very well. It actually provides composers with a certain ambience and vibe not found in other libraries, making it a very valuable arrow to have in your quiver of compositional tools.
Best choir library out there. Just superb in every aspect. Limitless possibilities. Personal, profound emotion and performance. Eric Whitacre is an absolute genius beyond words. Thank you Eric and Spitfire for giving us this unspeakably beautiful and extraordinary tool.

Who knew that vocalizing without words ... coherent thought ... or articulate revelation could be so compelling ... ethereal ... other worldly ... beautiful beyond description ... and evocative at so many levels.
The best choir library on the market.
The market is saturated with so-called “epic” choirs, many of which have become industry standards. SA noticed a hole in the market for more niche, intimate-sounding vocal libraries and the EWC doesn’t disappoint. The Evos especially are a nice touch. The new plugin is intuitive and not a CPU hog; it’s pretty easy to find your way around. Most importantly, the sound is beautiful - just don’t use this library for your epic trailer tracks, because that’s not what it’s meant for. At pretty much anything else, this library shines like few others.
Spitefire was right to not include world builders in this choir library. Instead, they've sonically created a choir that goes down very smoothly alongside other sounds, like a single malt whisky.

The library is comprehensive and easy to use. I particularly appreciate the legato patches which sounds realistic.

Pure and fantastic sound. Evo grid is really great. No competitor have something like that.
It's the first time that i've shelled out the money for a modern choir library, because other libraries have been too "epic" for me to justify it's price. This is a much more justifiable package. I can tell that this is a very professional choir "tool" in the way it's articulations are deliberately chosen and by the way you can sculpt it's sound by EQ. With very few tricks, this library can go from small and delicate to epic-sounding in "no time" ;-) This have to be the most versatile choir library on the planet!
This product as many other Spitfire products reaches a high level of professional and creative tools for serious composers. I am looking forward to seeing other instruments of the same league appearing in Spitfire audio offers.
Still experimenting, but I like what I hear - more so than many other choir libraries. It's been immediately useful with the promise of much more to come.
