As a new user it is awesome , Looking forward to getting to know LCOT Better :)
Glorified pads? No, these are true explorations into evolving sounds and textures.
Amazingly textural, as the name implies. There's so much inbuilt movement in every sound. Even if you play a simple note or chord, it's like you're playing and entire soundscape. Love the Evo Grid and the randomization function. It makes the library so much more versatile and fun to use.
Good texture in background
Instant inspiration - even the 'randomize everything' button (something I don't usually use) produces usable, interesting textures nine times out of ten. The only downside is I'm now looking hungrily at the LCO Strings library...
I make mostly electronic music but love to use these sounds in it. I process them a lot but also use them natual sometimes. The quality is awesome; I now even buy their products blindely because I know I cannot go wrong with them.

Just getting to know this bad boy as its a recent purchase.
this is good plugin.
Love the haunting textures of the LCO.
Absolutely great sample library for modern compositions. Definitely recommend it!
Lots of different sounds. Interface could be bigger. Tiny buttons.
Yes, those are contemporary sounds, indeed. And I love that.
Wonderful work by Spitfire Audio. They never disappoint. I'm now set to finish my next work.
I have always incorporated sounds in my work with a lot of processing till I fell they are unique and mine. This textures are so damn perfect that they reject any effect and just perfectly sit in the mix. The first time I used them I wanted to move away all the other sounds. They are so full and rich. Great job Spitfire!
I think I need to spend some quality time with the user's manual for this product because during "unboxing" I was quite disappointed by the limited dimensions of this product. Is it that Paul and Christian are just too damned good at presenting their walkthroughs that I thought this product would do more? Or maybe I just don't yet get it, but I was disappointed and couldn't help but feel I would have had greater value for my money elsewhere.
Nice sounds. Interface could be more intuitive.
It's a well recorded and unique library that offers some sounds no other string library does.
For me, the vocal sections in this library, in particular, the bass/baritones sections really stands out. The only issue with the vocal mix is a high pitched instrument / dragged percussion (not sure) that I ended up having to EQ out to get what I wanted. And I guess this highlights the problem with the library as a whole ... with the sections mixed as they are you might hear something you really love and can work with but you might also be frustrated by that one instrument in there that you wish could be removed. I've played around with the other sections and from memory the texture can be great, quickly veering into harder, atonal/aggressive territories but I ended up playing with the vocal section for hours.
