It is simply amazing
Being a professional composer for film, theatre and TV, Spitfire Audios’ LCO is an extremely good tool to flavour your compositions. It sounds fantastic, is user friendly, inspiring and very creative!
The day is was released I purchased it and started using it in the TV series I am composing for called The Murders filmed in Vancouver Canada. Amazing other world type of sounds that have such a organic but unrecognizable vibe. They work very well out of the box, and also tweaked. IE: pitching them down a few octaves. etc. Get it. You will love it. Close But Far happens to be my favorite patch.
A must have for music scoring !

This really is a beautiful tool, simple to use. I have been exploring it for about 4 days and all textures are "usable", either on their own or as a coloring tool within larger orchestrations. Also, it does add interest to synth drones, but I only put 4 stars out of five because I was expecting a few settings (maybe 15% of it) with a little more "rough edges", less smoothness, more surprising events. I suppose You will create a new edition with a title such as: "hard contemporary textures"? Just for me? Come one! Anyway, this is a great value for the price.
Just the "kind of glue" I expected for my compositions and solo instruments, the perfect companion to LCOS. Really inspiring, a breath of fresh air.
It’s almost silly how good this library is. The size may not seem all that impressive compared to their other libraries, but LCO Textures is likely the most unique library out there, while still serving a wide variety of applications. A complete range of dynamics that can either subtley draw you in, or jump right out at you. Each one carriers palpable emotion, no matter what mood you’re trying to induce. The evos are brilliant pads, have plenty of presence to lead the melody, or transitional vessels to keep a song flowing. These sounds pair perfectly with orchestral music, but really suit just about any vibe if used wisely. I really couldn’t be happier with this library!
Great Textures!
I loved the sound. Thanks to you for bringing us this kind of products. Only I can give a feedback about interface; It is sometimes hard to play different chords because when I play a different note, I lose the mid part of the related patch. It starts again from the beginning and I lose the transition.
This is a wonderful library, eerie but beautiful. Love the EVO grid format too. Spitfire are a great outfit. Buy with absolute confidence.
This is an amazing platform, the fact that there is so much coming to the table with every cord you play and it is a perfect edgy background for what you are looking for. Very similar to the sounds used in say Cloverfield or a new Netflix show. Multiple layers of brilliance I would have to say over all. A sure fire good buy!
