A comprehensive range of articulations and pedalling, with glisses in every key. In addition, we give you an otherworldly set of 'Harposphere' patches — beautiful pads and textures created from our original organic recordings. Spitfire Harp has been designed to blend effortlessly with our Symphonic and Chamber libraries, having been recorded in the same space — the world famous Hall at AIR Studios.

Now a real standard, my only hesitance is the now older (almost ageless) spitfire range comes in a little quieter than the more modern series. Those extra 2-3 mins getting volumes to match maybe detracts from the inspiring and excellent quality of the recordings and instrument themselves.

Well produced and engineered, great sounding library!

I enjoy the sound and the features. I don't mind the older looking GUI.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Warning, the Spitfire GUI in "CONTACT" is way too small, we can't see much. We are seated at a distance of 60 to 80 cm in front of the iMac 27 5K. This is not how we can work with SpitFire. Another major drawback is that the "Help Bubble" texts cannot be transported into a Google translator by copying and pasting them! When we actually need help in detail it becomes very cumbersome. Since Spitfire has no German-speaking support (like UAD), we will avoid Spitfire products in the future although we are very interested. We are very disappointed with the Black Friday offer "Tone" with Spitfire Harp - Ricotti Mallets - orchestral swarm. We can't say much about the sound quality, we haven't got that far. Far too exhausting. Therefore no recommendation for the 3 products. The customer support is friendly and competent (only in English), but a reversal or license cancellation is excluded. We became aware of SpitFire through LABS Free. Our first investment in a SpitFire purchase product was penalized like this. This gives us an instructive experience and will avoid Spitfire in the future. Thank you, PHK (Google Translate)

So delicate, very warm.

As with pretty much all Spitfire products, an obvious great deal of care, pride and hard work has gone into making another quality library of rich, dynamic and realistic sounds - at the same not overly processed, leaving plenty of room to tailor EQ to suit your mix.

Wonderfully realistic. Purchased to complete my SSO range.

I really like the sound of the harp, it’s very well recorded and blends easily with other instruments. It has the effects I need for film scoring, and I liked the “sound designed” synths made from the harp. They can add nice atmospheres to certain cues and we’re really fun to play with.

the normal pluck isn't that beautiful sounding. other than that, it's averagely good

Beautiful sound, very playable and musical

A bit too quiet. Too bad it doesn’t have its own plugin manager. Quite slow when trying to manually turn it on in Kontakt. Nice sound. Automatic arpeggio effect doesn’t work perfectly all the time quite frustrating

Great product and fits perfectly with the SSO. Even for those who don’t own the whole orchestra and are looking for a beautiful, realistic harp with a lot of articulations, this is a fantastic choice.

Harp is beautiful and dynamic with a lovely variety of articulations to make this a useful and unique instrument. (...and it folds into the Symphonic Strings library perfectly).

Very nice harp. Owning a few already, this filled in some of the deficiencies of the previous ones... but it’s also a very nice all around harp that’s so fun to play around with. Some of the dynamics are a little harsh but otherwise, excellent stuff.

When I looked at spitfire harp I saw lots of promise in this harp library and it delivered just that and more. I thought this library was just like the Union Chapel Organ in terms of articulations, made before UACC was a thing at Spitfire. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it indeed supports UACC and sounds excellent for the price. Couldn't be happier with my purchase except for one small thing which is that the library doesn't show up in the main kontakt window, instead it has to go through kontakt's file browser to be loaded.

Beautiful with lots of air and dynamic.

Beautiful library, but it's a shame you have to search for it in the Kontakt files instead of being able to have a dedicated library tab like you would for Albion. It's a great instrument, but considering the price I would recommend picking it up in a collection or during a discount. Unless of course you plan on using the harp enough to make the price worth it.
