Samples are good but this is an outdated product that is not even structured as a ture Kontakt library. Makes it much harder to use than it should
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I was using the stock Kontakt Harp for so long and this is a serious upgrade. Love the different articulations and the amount of detail in the dynamics
The sounds are incredible and the interface is easy and very user-friendly!
Very crispy sounds form the harp, especially with the slide. Would recommend it for working with orchestras.
Very good. Love the option to change pedals on the main UI screen. The glissando interface has a bit of a learning curve and is not quite as intuitive as other Spitfire software, but it does sound good and can produce fine results once learned.
Innovative patches and intuitive. The samples are absolute top quality. I especially like the way the glissandi are designed, after a bit of a learning curve you can get what you want really quickly. The only reservation being that it doesn't run in a library in Kontakt which makes it inconvenient to swap in the "file" section. Still a solid 5 in my book.
The rolls are needlessly quiet. I purchase the harp out of necessity to integrate in an existing many-tracks project, late in the process. I wanted to "upgrade" from Cineharp and finally get something better that would give me more control. This isn't it. The rolls are so ridiculously quiet that the maximum 6 dB boost in contact plus boosting the signal as much as possible in the DAW mixer is barely sufficient to have them clearly audible. If I had started the project with the harp in mind, then things would have been easier. But in the current situation, it's a lot of work to have to go and lower the levels on every single track but the harp rolls. Not as much a high end replacement to Cineharp as I'd hoped, but the main instrument is great. Just the rolls are too damn quiet for use out of the box in a digital environment and they lack control. Good choice if you don't already have Cineharp.
Best harp i have worked with. Actually a harp that sounds like an expresive harp and not some rare midi thing.
Perfect! Love it :) So natural and easy to play :)
This is a great harp sample library, and I want to reserve special praise for the "harpospheres," synth instruments built off of the samples. These are innovative and cool sounds, and truly make the library unique.
Great harp! I like moving the mics around, arpeggiating with the OP1 as a controller and also processing with max for live devices or tape warp.
